Good cover, worth the money!
Decided to pay a little more and get a quality cover and I chose this one because of the +ve reviews and because it said it was suitable for transportation so I figured it must be quite tuff. Well I'm impressed. I bought the XL size and it easily fits over my XL sized 29er mountain bike (once I'd figured out which way round it went! lol). The material is strong, no danger of tearing it. We've had heavy rain and strong winds since I first used it and the bike has stayed dry and the cover is still in place!. Excellent!

Well made
Good fit for static mountain bike on turbo charger left outside in all weathers. Strong material should last, easy to adjust/put on/remove. Comes with useful carry bag.

Excellent quality and size for two mountain bikes.
Excellent quality and size for two large mountain bikes, fits a treat and is of heavy enough gauge to keep the rain off. I like the additional pull cords to pull the cover in , but deducted 1 point as I feel it needs a pull cord in the middle to keep the centre section taught. Otherwise I highly recommend this. UPDATE: whilst still a great product and the 4 stars remain my rating, one of the eyelets from the lower elasticated pull cord has become detached from the cover, so I hope this doesn't affect the durability.

Excellent Cover
Excellent, keeps bikes dry having tested it on long drives across Europe in thunderstorms. Easy to fit, straps keep it in place. I will add a strap to outside as it does billow a little when driving After use once dry it still packs away in the supplied bag.

Travel cover or not?
Received today, seems good quality. The instructions say not for travel use, just a cover for outdoor use, which isn't as described on Amazon and a bit concerning. (Hence only 3 stars) Will try for a bit and update if any issues but, for now, seems good and the price is right.

Good quality cover
Used this for a months touring around on the back of a motorhome. excellent quality material, tough & durable, Waterproof and strong. Used to cover 2 mountain bikes and it would easily cover 3 bikes. I used extra straps to take up any slack and stop it flapping while on the move. It does come fitted with 2 pull cords and 3 plastic snap together buckles but does need 2 or 3 extra straps as its quite big.

Looks great quality
Purchased a cheaper one last year to travel to France, it shredded after about 1000 miles, so went for a more expensive one this year. Looks better quality and will report back in a couple of months time The warranty has also been extended from 2 to 5 years

Fits over both large E bikes on the back of the caravan very well. The straps and elastic on the cover pulls in to keep everything snug.

I have actually bought several bike covers, mainly from Amazon. Every one I have found, or even been recommended by review sites, has turned out to be made of very flimsy material. It actually took quite a bit of searching to find covers that could actually protect our (not inexpensive) bikes from the elements. Having read good write-ups on the previous covers I had bought, and having to trash three of these now, because they fell apart in a few months, I decided to go all out to get something that would last and handle a bit of bad weather (the point of its existence). I no longer trust the cheap thin ones! The Team Obsidian bike covers are multiple times the cost of the other two makes I have tried. Overpriced? I don't think so, not at all, in fact. These covers are made from fabric that is not only much thicker, but it's also rip-stop, which I consider a must if it is to survive high winds. The seams are much stronger and the whole thing is much better made. It is the quality of a good tent fly sheet. It is also more generous in its sizing. My XL (2 bike cover) comfortably covers two 29ers, one being a long travel enduro bike (large) and the other a trail bike (medium). As our bikes live on a wind exposed 2nd floor verandah I ordered the transport rated cover. It costs more, but it has side tie down cords and other features to resist wind. I also bought it in the light grey colour (light gray color if you are American). Not only does this seem like the smartest option for the harsh Australian sun, it was also quite a bit cheaper than the black one, for some weird reason. I'm not complaining. I am very happy with this purchase and it gives me a lot of confidence in the protection of our precious mountain bikes. I will repurpose the one surviving el-cheapo cover as an indoor dust cover, for when we can afford to build a garage.
