Great for keeping mice out. Not so great for keeping fresh, there is not a tight seal, the lid just sits on it.

Measurements are not accurate. The inside compartment is basically 4"x4".The product is NOT airtight or does it "close". I doubt it would keep bread fresh.Lastly, it is very flimsy.

Non- sealing lid. May be good for some or for other uses.

This is a basic bread keeper. No frills but it does the job. Its a little more flimsy than I would like but still holds shape and keeps the bread fresh. If you want a bread keeper that snaps down this isn't it. But it appears that it doesn't need that. It fits a basic loaf of bread but not a wide pan loaf.

I am disabled and I have trained my dogs to go on a specific towel on the tile in the kitchen because I cannot let them out every minute that they need to go. therefore, in the picking up the poo with long handed grippers and put it in this box I cut the top 1/3 of the box off and the remaining 2/3. I glued with a hot glue gun back onto the box. I also used some permanent magic markers in gold and green that say gold poo box. The bottom, half of the box is covered in a silver magic marker with unique design. There are many uses for this box, but I bet mine is exceptional. I would recommend this box for both bread and poo. I think I’ll be buying some more for bread this time for storage of small items.

I was disappoint to see that it's too small to hold a loaf made in my bread maker.
