I purchased one of these for my classroom after our counselor suggested it. Students like being able to tell “someone” their worry without needing to talk about it. The zipper is sturdy and holds up to repeated use. I love the pink tie dye!

I bought this to go with The Worry Monster Book. I use this after we read the story. We write our worries down and feed them to the Worry Monster and then talk about ways to move past the worry. Once the Worry Monster eats the worry it is gone. The next time they come back they check to see if the Worry Monster still has the worry.

Love the idea of this and my daughter was super excited for it. I on the other hand was highly disappointed in the quality of the monster. When opening the vacuum packed bag I found a few pieces of fabric not attached to the monster, I thought nothing of it as it didn’t seem to be missing and patches of “fur”. Then within moments of playing with the monster my daughter points out the hole in his foot where it’s not fully attached.

I bought the Rainbow Colour Worry Monster for my 9-year-old child, who worries a lot, and it’s been a really positive addition for them. The idea is simple but effective, they can write down their worries, put them inside the monster, and feel like they’re safely “put away” rather than going round in their head. Overall, a lovely, thoughtful product that I’d happily recommend to parents of children who struggle with anxiety or overthinking.
