This regulator assembly is the perfect solution to my dilemma. I have a 500 gallon propane tank as my primary supply. I've had some difficulties in the past getting gas delivery due to poor timing or bad weather. I needed a way to connect a 100 lb bottle to my system but my system regulator is attached to my 500 gallon tank. This regulator has provided me the solution. By attaching this regulator to the system using the proper fittings and control valves, I now have the means to have an auxiliary tank for emergency use. This regulator functions perfectly and connects easily to my 100 lb bottle and my smaller 25 lb bottles. The connector attaches easily to the auxiliary tanks with minimal effort and doesn't leak. The build quality is good and it is holding up well being exposed to the elements. If I ever need another one, then I will try to get this one. This regulator provides the proper pressure for my heaters to provide adequate heat and my stove to function very well. This regulator protects my appliances from excessive pressure and fuel supply. I highly recommend this product for any LP gas system.

Does work perfectly, but not for a patio heater. The regulator is too big to fit the main tube, and too long to fit nicely along with the reservoir.

My house is ran on solar. And this is running my dryer off a LP cylinder.

Had a propane stove was was having intermittent problems with lighting and low flame levels. Doing some reading online, saw a recommendation to upgrade to a dual-stage regulator from the single-stage that was installed previously. What A huge difference! The stove now lights every single time, I can run all 3 burners together, with normal frame level, and the issues I saw with poor gas flow when the outside temp was dropping below 10°F are all gone.

I bought this because Alexa said it would be compatible with my Westinghouse 2880 DCFi dual fuel generator. I hooked it up to my generator and it wouldn’t turn over to start the engine. The smell of propane was continuous while the engine was on choke. I realized that the flow of propane was too much to sustain a start up. (It’s like trying to light a match on a windy day). I attached the hose that came with the generator and it turned over after two pulls of the rip cord. Afterwards, I compared the diameter of each hose. Sure enough, the diameter of this hose vs. the shorter default hose was approximately 25% bigger. Lastly, this hose doesn’t have a second, larger flow valve like the default hose. I’m sure this hose will work ok for another application, just not for this brand of generator.

Purchase this 2 stage propane regulator for a dyna glo heater ..

This controller looks well made and of quality ..however after being connected to our propane bottle out doors next to the Generator storage box ..all the screws joining the top/bottom flanges of the controller have turned rusty...they are very small screws so wonder if this unit will hold up for the long haul.Would suggest they should switch to stainless screws.... we will not purchase this again.
