A lot of reviews on here said that they broke in a few days....IF that is the case, it sounds like someone was breaking them in a few days..These came intact perfectly and hold my pens rulers and brushes without any breakage! If you are using these as a desk top/workspace pen or utensil storage this is a perfect, cute little item to add to your area! If you plan to use these as toys that function rolling around "heavy" materials I would not choose these as the place where the axle is held on it does seem too flimsy to carry any weight. If you place your pens in the bins, as is, they seem to go a little too deep into the cup for my liking, but that still allows for the lid to be completely shut with average pens and some pre sharpened pencils. To eliminate that problem I just filled the bottom of the waste bins with a few pebbles I had bought for another project but if you wanted to go even cheaper you could use some $1 rice and it will elevate the pens so they can easily be reached from outside the tops of the bins and can be seen easily!

Very cute and they hold a lot. One holds over 50 pencils. They're just a cute and practical desk accessory and they help me stay sane when dealing with dumpster fires! A little humor goes a long way!

These are really cute. I use them for my college desk. One thing to know is that the wheels come in the box and you have to attach them yourself. Mine were very hard to put on because the crevice for them was just so tight. I actually took a nice and worked it through there a bit to make more space. Also, the lids are functional but only if you don’t plan on putting writing utensils in there. Average sized pens and pencils sort of stick out at the top so the lid won’t close. Overall, I think they’re super cute. A nice, funny touch to any desk.

The tiny wheels come separate and are easy to pop on. The lids open and close completely, just like a real trash can. Lean it and it actually rolls! These are sturdy and made of the same plastic as a real can. The only thing is, regular-sized pens will get swallowed up - you'll have to use something in the bottom to make them stand higher to get them out easily. Cotton balls or...?

The toys themselves are awesome. Very fun and funny thing to give to someone as a present like I did, BUT, one of them(the recycle one) since I ordered both the trash and recycle trash can toys, came in the box broken. Picked the box up to open it and I heard rattling. Thought that maybe I had to put it together myself but when I opened the box, it was broken. The top/lid was cracked in pieces so it was useless after I figured that out of course.

Well designed! I got this as one of a few retirement gifts for a lady who worked in the public works office managing customer issues with garbage pickup. She thought it was a humorous gift.

My 5 year old has been into garbage trucks since he was 1. I have bought every Bruder truck, every Tonka garbage truck, every Sulo can for sale on Amazon. But these cans are the best because the lids don't break off when the can falls to the ground. They simply pop right back into place.The Sulo cans bust very easily and are 3x more. These cans are perfect for his garbage collecting and dumping around the house. I know these are intended for office use but my 5 year old thinks they are amazing! So does this mom. No more tears whenever these fall off the counter!

These are cute IF you love garbage bins and don't touch them. My son is 2.5 years old and loves all things garbage. I had read the reviews and knew they weren't kid-proof. In fact, the box says, "NOT A TOY!" That said, the lid pins broke within 10 minutes and the wheels broke in 30 seconds. I can't exactly give a bad star rating as I knew what I was getting into. For toys, go with the Brueder set. What the kids like, though, is wheelie bins like this, however.

Bought these years ago to throw garbage on my desk into instead of having it pile. Loved these things had them right up until my last.move and I lost them. Not sure where they went but I'm on the road more nowadays otherwise.id pick up another set.
