Are there any instructions? I have no idea how to use these tools properly.

I bought the 2 pack (armbands, only). Not a big fan of the yellow clip on apparatus. The ball on lanyard is useful, but moreso for advanced players with better swing knowledge. The armband aid is basic. Stick both arms thru one hole each. Pull armband up to biceps (or just below biceps). Then, take some slow practice swings without club (finding your comfortable range of motion). Full backswing should be ok. 3/4 Follow thru with armband on is good enough. This promotes the body turn to cause the follow thru (instead of a fake arms only followthru). I used this a lot when I was figuring out my swing and had to fight a "flying elbow".
