All Pros No Cons 5-Stars I highly recommend The shipping, delivery, and packaging was great. The plastic product package can be re-used to keep the hooks organized. This set of lace crochet hooks is exactly as described and are of good quality. The METAL part is COMPLETELY SMOOTH as it should be and does not snag the thread. The rubber HANDLES are VERY COMFORTABLE and helpful in decreasing and/or eliminating hand stress caused by crocheting with hooks that don't have ergonomic handles. I already had a set of stainless steel lace crochet hooks WITHOUT ergonomic handles and a set of LARGER HOOKS WITH the rubber handles (which spoiled me). I started to crochet some snowflakes with my steel crochet hooks and had to stop because without the larger ergonomic handles it was too difficult and painful on my hands. I ordered these hooks and it has made a world of difference! I've attached pictures. The handles are mostly pastel colors BUT the color shows more vibrant in the photos because I edited it to show the size stamped on each handle. You can easily see it in real life but my camera (or maybe it was the the photographer) had trouble capturing it. I also included a photo showing the package with a sample piece of lace crochet snowflake I started. These crochet hooks are affordable, easy on one's hands, and are of good quality. If ever I need another set I will purchase again. I definitely recommend them especially if you've never used crochet hooks with these rubber handles. Honestly, they really do make a world of difference in relieving hand stress. Thanks for taking the time to read my review.

. . .and I really love it. The faux-felt carrier is well constructed, with hook-sized slots that the hooks rest in. It rolls up nicely and is easily secured with the elastic band, and it takes up minimal storage space. These hooks are so much more comfortable to hold than the plain metal or wooden ones. The shaft of the hook is soft plastic and has a padded feel. I'm not a huge fan of plastic when it comes to my fiber tools, but I have to say that in this case I appreciate it very much. There are little grippy places in strategic spots along the shaft, sort of like the ribbed bumps on streets that are supposed to get drivers to slow down, and these keep your hand from sliding around. I can work for much longer periods without hand strain using these hooks. Also, it comes with markers and several big metal needles, which I use for all sorts of things besides crochet -- which I didn't expect and which I consider pure lagniappe. I have not yet had the hook size markings wear off, which some of the other reviewers mentioned. But in the event that happens I have a crochet and knitting needle gauge measuring plate that I have used for years simply because I don't always want to go get my glasses to read tiny markings on hooks and needles. These are inexpensive, and necessary for many hooks (or needles) which may have markings that are difficult to read even from the get-go. Also, I don't use patterns, and it's easy for me to swatch so as to find the best yarn/hook match for whatever I'm making. For the price, this is an excellent set of hooks, and they have revolutionized my experience of working in crochet.

Very sturdy.. crocheting some small items some hooks grip comes apart from hook and slides out of grip. These have not so far. Love them

Love these crochet hooks, they don’t catch the yarn (snag) like some hooks do. Great to hold in my hand.

The case is a but of a weird material and I’d like to replace it soon, but the hook themselves are great! My older relative who knits and crochets was impressed with the ergonomic, comfortable grip and asked for a set herself. Loved the variety in sizes for all sorts of projects, they have a nice shape to grab the yarn! Good bang for your buck honestly

This is a really great set of crochet hooks. I searched quite a while before I bound this gem of a kit. Every crochet hook size I wanted with comfortable handles. The little carrying tote is really nice, rugged and compact. I had previously ordered a reasonably nice kit from a vendor on Etsy. I was charged for it, but never received it. The vendor was not helpful in any way. When I re-ordered I made sure it was from an Amazon vendor because I’ve always been satisfied with the reliability.

Honestly one of my favorite hook sets that I've gotten off of Amazon! The best part about them is how smooth the shaft is. The yarn glides right over the hooks with ease, no catching at all, and that's a big deal to me. The only thing I don't love is that, yes, the size markings on the handles do rub off after some mild use, but that's not a deal breaker for me, personally. They are also very lightweight, in that you can tell the handle is hollow and the hook itself isn't the full length of the handle. This does make me scared that the hooks could break off from the handle during use, but I've not had that happen yet, and I do have relatively tight tension. I can't tell if I like the fact that they feel so much lighter in my hands compared to other hooks or not, but they are definitely noticeably lighter. The carrying case that it comes with isn't my favorite, but it does make for easy storage. The little extras that come with such as the stitch markers and warning needles and a nice plus. Overall, I'd recommend this set! I even bought a 2nd set for myself in case any of the hooks do break or get lost. Decent hook set for the price.

Very nice set of small hooks for a person who is crocheting more and more. Need those grips for my old hands.

Very comfortable to hold

I ordered this set for my nine and eleven year old grandchildren who are just beginning to crochet. The handles are comfortable for this Grani and fit the kiddos’ hands too. The pouch keeps everything together for sharing hooks and makes clean up after craft time a breeze.

I got these for my mom. She has been having a very hard time crocheting over the last year or two. When I got these, she was mad at me. But as she tried these out, they slowly became her go to. In the end, I laughed at her because she ended up loving them more than what she was using previously. They do work!
