This product is well made and incredibly useful, and helped remove the dread that I normally feel towards trying to keep my grass weed-free. In the past I've used chemical weed killers to fertilize the grass and kill weeds. This method works effectively, but fertilizers can be expensive and hazardous to handle and store, so with 1/3 of an acre of grass to manage, I wanted a cheaper solution. In the three days following the arrival of the tool, I filled a 90 gallon yard waste bin to the top with weeds (I had a lot). There's definitely a relaxing and cathartic aspect to using the tool, and looking out over a weed-free lawn gives a tremendous sense of accomplishment. My yard is finally free of the vigorous dandelions that seem so eager to reseed themselves. This weed puller uses the simple physics of leverage to extract the weed, and most of the time it pulls the weed's root as well. Its effectiveness as a tool can be best seen when the ground isn't too dry and the weed can be extracted cleanly. In many cases it does pull some dirt with the weed, leaving a small hole. But overall, this is one of the best yard tools I've ever added to my toolshed.

There still works really well! It certainly priced very competitively versus the more costly versions. While I’ve only used it for a few days, it’s off to a wonderful start and has helped me easily eliminate weeds from my property. Some of the more mature weeds with thicker roots require a few attempts before I can completely remove them. It’s a bit heavy, but to me, that shows that the build quality is strong and it has the proper amount of leverage to pull tough wheat. It would be interesting to see a future version have something on the clause that offer a tighter grip. Perhaps replaceable rubber covers? This could be a new revenue stream for the company.

My favorite thing about this axe is that it keeps a sharp edge with little effort. (Smith’s Axe & Machete pull through sharpener is all I use on the axe - sharpening puck for the splitter.) I don’t use the splitter much; actually bought it by mistake, but it serves its purpose. For the cost it was definitely worth keeping in my shop. I use the axe all the time, mostly for splitting, store-bought wood bundles. The weight is perfect for me, it’s easy to swing and makes quick work of a wood bundle. It will split a big log and break it down into kindling. Before putting it away, I wipe it down, pull it through the sharpener 10 times in each direction, brush off the burrs, and it’s ready to go next time. I was skeptical of the handle. I originally wanted wood, but like I said, I bought the splitter by accident and liked the quality, but needed an axe. I live in the desert and this past summer it was 115° for too many days to remember. I won’t leave it out in the summer sun, but it otherwise has held up beyond my expectations. My only complaint is this: the edge guard that comes with it sucks. It was warped when I got it and it was lost soon after arrival. Not at all a big deal and barely worth mentioning, but nothings’s perfect, so it should be noted. I love this axe, use it all the time, going to buy another and think I’ll give a couple as gifts. Great tool, great quality, excellent value. And it keeps an edge!

This definitely is better than breaking your back pulling weeds by hand. Instead of bending, you can turn the weed puller to clear it as needed. Plus, it's easy to use and store. This weed tool is well worth it for anyone with a bad back or achy knees like me.

This weed puller works on about half the weeds like it said it would. We have sandy soil so I think if it was clay it wouldn't work very well at all, but I don't know for sure.

I was so excited to get this. Perfect to help my husband who has a bad back, so now he too can participate in weekend yardwork! Very solid. Hard wooden pole built onto a very solid metal base. Definitely built to last. Tried it out, and it successfully took some big weeds right out of the ground. There’s a slight learning curve to get the rhythm, but it works. That’s all that matters. Very heavy, comfortable to hold and step on. Gets the job done.

I like the axe light and sharp!

Es mi primera hacha por lo que quise probar de este estilo para hacer camping amateur es de buen manejo así mismo no trae la funda verde de plástico que se ve en la foto inicial solo viene con una goma que protege el filo de fabrica. A mi gusto el filo de Fábrica es bueno sin embargo se puede mejorar mucho más para fines prácticos y de bushcraft. Sugiero comprar una funda aquí mismo en Amazon de poliéster para cubrir su filo y se vea como la ultimas fotos (la funda de nylon la compré aparte) no viene incluida
