National Tree Company 6.5ft Pre-Lit Downswept Douglas Fir Christmas Tree

I purchased the 6.5 ft size National Tree Company Pre-Lit ‘Feel Real’ Artificial Full Downswept Christmas Tree to create a central focal point in an entertaining space with a low ceiling. Yes, time was spent fluffing out and arranging the branches exactly to my liking. However, this is a task I expect on putting up an artificial tree. The version I purchased came with only warm white lights pre-installed. I added a 100 ft 300 LED Christmas lights strand, multicolored, 8 modes, into the central interior of my tree. I felt that lent additional dimension. The tree packaging was sturdy. Arrived as scheduled. Comes in three sections that went together intuitively, along with a metal stand of reasonable sturdiness. With the tree fully installed, the stand is also fully stable. I spent a fair amount of time, over several weeks, researching artificial trees online. For the price point, this tree checked all of my buttons and exceeded expectations. The tree has significantly more warm white lights than average. Extra ornaments, tucked into the center of the tree, along with the additional light strand, mentioned above, easily ‘corrected’ the less than realistic inner branches. Those are wrapped vs tipped. At the same time, the outer tips are gorgeous and very close to realistic in appearance Further, I greatly appreciated gloves weren’t required when I set up this tree. That, alone, was a big plus for me. At the end of the exercise, this tree, fully decorated, looks far more expensive than it was. I hesitate and rarely write product reviews. That said, this particular tree has earned my unreserved recommendation. It reminds me of the real Douglas Firs we had during my growing up years on the East coast.

I was really hesitant to but a pre-lit tree. But this was an awesome buy, so easy to mange, less hassle to take down and put up, easy to decorate, looked great, bigger and fluffy in size than i expected. 1 0r 2 bulbs were blown but they were easy to change and it came with extras, i loved that it also didnt affect the other lights on the tree, so no need to fight and try find the blown ones. Perfect!

2022-Year #4 And the tree still looks great! I did replace one bulb this year. Absolutely no disappointment here! 2019-After doing much research on many artificial trees and reading the reviews on this tree, I decided to take a chance. My biggest concern was that it would look full (no holes), I was also concerned about the negative comments regarding faulty lights on the tree. The last artificial pre-lit tree I owned had many "holes" due to thin branches which ornaments really couldn't hide. When I got the tree I plugged in each section of the tree & the lights appeared to be working. However, I noticed when I put the second section on, one strand of lights were not working. I found a broken bulb, replaced it and all was well with the rest of the lights on the tree. Fluffing was not a big deal, I did follow the recommendation of a previous comment to keep the branches tied up and do one row at a time. For me it would've been too overwhelming to try to do an entire section at a time. I have attached pics without and with the lights. The only place that seemed to lack "fullness" was the bottom row of branches. They hang down a bit from the above branches making them to look sparse. Overall I am pleased with the fullness, lights, etc. The feel real branches are nice. It is true they follow into the inside of the tree but you don't see the more artificial looking branches on the inside. I compared the National "feel real" tree to other artificial trees (with the same tips) in the stores and buying it on Amazon was between $200 to $300 less than store brands. I never thought I would pay as much as I did for an artificial tree but it was certainly a good value compared to what is out there. I felt confident that if the tree was as bad as some of the comments suggested, I would just send it back. I don't think "Perfect" trees exist in real life let alone the artificial world. I am happy with the tree and how it looks. It looks full and the lights are great.

My family’s previous Christmas tree of 13 years broke and we needed a new one. I spent a lot of time comparing artificial trees and this one was the best value for a tree that has mostly PE branches, which make the tree more realistic and not shed. Pros: The tree is easy to put together, the branches are easy to fluff out. It’s sturdy enough to handle my little kids enthusiastically decorating it and hold heavy ceramic ornaments. The spacing of the lights on the branches look great. Cons: would like more branches in the middle section to fill in the gaps. I had to do a lot of bending the branches to make it look full. I recommend using filler branches and ribbon to help make it full. I would also like a step on switch/button to turn the tree on and off rather than crawling under the tree to unplug it. The plugs on the tree that connect each section are big and bulky and I prefer a sure-lit pole but forgot about that feature when I bought it. Other notes: It comes with extra lights, replacement fuses, card with a QR code to website for instructions (you do have to search for them).

This is our first artificial tree and our first Christmas with our baby. My husband only ever wanted a real tree for the nostalgia and smell but it kills me to think that it took each tree years to grow, only to slowly decay in our home and end up in the trash. I did some research and ended up with this 6.6’ prelit tree and I can honestly say I’m blown away. It’s absolutely ✨ STUNNING ✨ It took a bit to fluff but I love that it’s customizable in shape. I lifted the bottom branches so the cats and our baby have space to play underneath (supervised of course). The height and width are perfect for our space, the lights are beautifully warm and well spaced, the outter tips are flexible and realistic, and the overall shape is classic. I love that not only will we have this tree for many years to come, but we can leave it up longer, have less mess and I won’t have to worry about our kid or pets ingesting needles. 100% will recommended this to anyone whose in the market for a tree that doesn’t look artificial!

I always avoid writing negative reviews on things I buy except in cases like this where the product and the Company are not good. I specifically searched for an American company where the trees were made in the USA. I also didn't mind paying more money for that so I would have a great quality tree and convenient Customer Service if I ever needed it. This was my first artificial tree and I wanted one that looked and felt pretty real and had a lot of lights nicely intertwined all through the tree. I ordered my first tree in November of 2021. When I got the tree, I could see that the way ot had been packed in the box had caused the metal tree trunk to slice through the electrical cord used to plug the tree in. So, I had to go through the hassle of sending that tree back to be replaced. The replacement tree got to me on Christmas Eve so I quickly set it up and was relieved that I finally had a working and nice looking Christmas Tree even if it had taken until Christmas Eve to get it. But over the next couple of weeks, I noticed sections of the trees lights were going out. By that time I was dealing with some serious health issues and couldn't deal with the tree issues so I just left it up for a few months. Over that time, each of the sections of lights went out until eventually there were no lights working on the tree. I had read the warranty info and knew the lights had a 2 year warranty so I figured I would deal with that after my treatments for my health. In November 2022 I contacted the Customer Service phone number for the Company. That is a long and tedious process that I won't bore you with here. Just know that it involves a lot of time and exasperating conversations that send you to other people and end up going no where or you get disconnected and have to start all over again. These calls all go to overseas customer service agents too. After a lot of back and forth and disconnected phone calls and hours of holding on the phone, the very best help I can get with this tree is that they will send me a set of 400 lights that I can then string throughout my tree that originally came with (and I paid for) 650 lights. Then I am supposed to use the tree like that with the 400 lights that they send me put on it somehow while ignoring the 650 dead lights that must remain on the tree. And, by the way, it will take 10 business days for the company to send me the 400 replacement lights. Then in January of 2023, I must contact the company again and set up everything so I can go and ship the tree back to them. I have to pay for that as well from what I have been told by Customer Service. Then the ompany will send it overseas (where the trees are actually made) and they will restoring the lights on the same tree and then send me back the same tree sometime in March 2023 or so. Currently, I hate this tree and this Company that I had thought I would be so happy with. I don't see that changing anytime soon either since I don't see a resolution to my issue anytime soon. I am also extremely disappointed and feel like National Tree Company tricked me or purposely misled me to believe that they are an American Company and they are not. Their products are not American made and their business and customer service is conducted overseas. Extremely disappointed.

I really like this tree, I was a bit nervous ordering one online because you never know how things will be. But it's a very nice tree and I'm quite happy with it. It was really easy to set up once I managed to wrangle the box inside. You just set each piece in place and connect the lights strands. And then you fluff and fluff and fluff the branches. It looked really pitiful when I first set it up and I was a little worried, but after fluffing it looks nice and full. I didn't time it, but I'm guessing it took around 45min to get it looking nice. And then as I was adding the ornaments, I'd fine tune the branch placement. The branches are metal so they feel nice and sturdy and the branch tips are a mix of the PVC needles at the outer edges and the other ones further back for filler. There is a lot of depth to it. Some artificial trees seem to only have the outer ring of branch tips and then totally empty behind that, but not this one. Also, it has plenty of lights and again they aren't all just at the outer edges. My biggest concern was there not being enough lights and having to add more, but this seems just right. It's not going to trick anyone into thinking it's a real tree, but it is far more realistic than many others I've seen. Overall I'm really happy with it.

Tree fluffed up real nice. Very happy with this purchase. Was a bit nervous buying a tree online and the recent reviews and photos helped make me more comfortable and I finally pulled the trigger when I couldn’t find one locally that was the right size and look I was wanting. Some reviews say it wasn’t full enough but after I fluffed my tree I knew those reviews were from people who don’t know how to fluff a fake tree. Some also suggested lights were not enough and they had to add more I personally feel the lights were sufficient for the look I wanted and I like to see my ornaments and not be blinded by the lighting. Overall I would highly recommend this tree the value is great and the look is very realistic. For people getting ready to pull the trigger just know to spend time fluffing and you will be happy. Images that show a sparse looking tree probably spent 10-15 min fluffing if at all. I spent almost an hour fluffing mine, probably could have fluffed more and I am very happy with the look.

Is very nice and received lots of compliments. Easy to set up as well. I am 68 years old and set it up by myself. I'm glade I made that purchase.

The product met my expectations completely. The tree is lovely and I’m very happy with it. It arrived when expected, although the courier just rang the doorbell and left the package on the door step. They did not wait for someone to answer the door, nor did they know whether or not I was home. This is not a good thing, particularly at this time of year when there could be some just waiting to pick up packages left on steps.

Very pretty and real looking full tree. Not cheap like many out there. And easy to put together.
