Reliable, consistent, versatile
I like Ralphie Jr.s for indoor playing. It's been years since I'd used them for competition, but when you want to work through some music on your drum pad, these are a great tool for that. I probably started using them mostly because I grew up in Colorado and Ralph Hardimon has a huge influence there, but when you find something that works, why change? You know you're getting quality with Vic Firth, they go the extra mile when pairing sticks so there's no excuse to not have your left and right hand sound the same. I'm not a professional by any means. No professional needs these reviews to know about these sticks. I'm writing for the person in middle school or high school that wants to march, needs a lighter stick to build up to the outdoor sticks, and doesn't have a lot of money to spend (great prices, always).

If you want growth in your drumming, these are perfect practice sticks.
I've had these sticks for over a year now still haven't broke. These are really durable. I use these for practice in downtime and in the off season. If you want these sticks to last a bit longer you might want to tape them, but regaurdless these sticks are remarkably durable. These were actually my first pair. In the past year I've grown so much not only as a drummer but as a percussionist. These sticks helped me grow from not even being able to form a proper buzz roll to now i can do paradiddles at 180. These sticks are great. Hands down some of my favorite sticks I've ever played with. Vic Firth Nailed it with these.

My son is happy with this product; it worked very well for his performances in his school band.

I found my holy grail
Finally found the perfect trap kit stick that fits my hand and is well balanced and not too heavy. It’s like night and day now when I play on the kit as I’m a bigger guy and my hands are too large for the typical drum set sticks. These fit perfectly and are right on the line for being the heaviest yet still effective pair of sticks for a trap set.

Beautifully Heavy Sticks
These sticks are heavy, but produce such a wonderful sound and have such a great feel for rock and dance drumming. These can be finessed surprisingly well despite their heft. You'll nail the pocket with these. I'm delightfully pleased.

Solidly average
For the few weeks I've used them there solidly average theres nothing crazy about them, but the size difference is nice. the weight is nicely balanced, it doesn't have too much of too little rebound. I can't exactly speak on durability because I've only used them a short bit but they do seem to take many shots and not chip.

Excellent for Increasing Power in Fingers and Wrists
These are the heaviest sticks I own, followed by some LA Special 3S sticks, and to be honest the 3S feels way lighter. You get a lot of feedback from these Corpsmaster sticks to really zoom in on your technique and expose weaknesses. I warm up with these every morning on the practice pad for about ten minutes, then switch to Vic Firth 2bn and really rip it up. I've used the corpsmaster on a kit before and it's just as loud as you'd think, which is delightful. Overall it's like an oversized Sd1 with nylon, definitely a great value. If you're looking at heavy sticks, these are great.

Best Marching Snare Sticks
This is the best marching drumstick I have ever used! My drumcorp only uses these drumsticks, for the snares. I loved the drumsticks so much I decided to buy them for personal use. They are long lasting, my band sticks last about a year. Also, I love the nice sound of the nylon tips.

You can play hard with it, it will last long enough! I don’t buy wood tip anymore and no 7’s or 5’s ( toi weak ) The sticks are big and long. I like it that way I play metalcore/desthcore by the way, and nylon tip is a must, wood tip just can’t hold the run, got some wood pieces all over the floor !
