This is a great product. Easy to install, worked great to bring the boat in and holds up well. Very impressed with the attached rope. Have a Seadoo 230 Wake that weighs around 3,000 dry and it held up great bringing it in wet and up a slope.

Received winch at quick inspection looked well built and because of the rating I was comfortable using on my boat trailer. Bolted it up was a bit of a small footprint on my trailer but bolted in place. When pulling the boat out the winch just cranked and cranked tightening the spool but not moving the boat. I had to use the out drive to get the boat on the trailer with not help of the winch. Used the chain to be sure the boat was secure not trusting the winch at all especially when inspecting on a flat surface to try to snug the boat to the rubber snubber I noticed the bolt that attaches the strap was severely bent. Will be seeking a refund for this false advertised winch

I ORIGINALLY gave this 1 star because the box didn't show what I had ordered. After opening it up, it's exactly what I had wanted. Durable with the strap, not the steel cable.

works well for small boats

I use it on my boat trailer. The only issue I had when ordering was that there wasn’t any measurements to compare to the mounting bracket. Hence, while it didn’t cause much grief but I had to modify the bracket slightly. Not the end of the world
