Can you use either left or right independent of the other?

Accepted Answer

The only problem that you will run into while using them independently is there are different features for long presses. For example, on the left ear you can long-press and turn the volume down and on the right, you can long-press to turn the volume down. If you remove one of the ears, you can only use that one ear's long-press function which comes into natural responses when you want to quickly turn something down via long press and you forget that you have the volume up ear pod in, it makes for misery.

Question 2

Are they comfortable? Will it hurt my ears after wearing them for a full day?

It took me 3 days to find my sweet spot in sizes. The wing tip was no problem at first with medium sized tips. My 2nd day wearing them I went to the larger wing tips only. This made my whole ear sore by the end of the day.  So the 3rd day i went back to the small wing tips and went to the small tips inside.  I work with these in all day... only had them out to charge. The 3rd day my ears were still sore. I decided to go back to the medium inside tips and no wing tip.  It's been a couple weeks now and no discomfort. I occasionally adjust and if they are new to you be careful not to over adjust and make your ears sore... these are in my opinion very comfortable now. I will put small wing tip in soon now that my ears are no longer sore.  I like how it helps add to the noise cancelling when I'm operating equipment.

Question 3

The ios app, galaxy buds+, only scores 2 out of 5. lots of complaints that users could not connect their ear buds to the app. any experience of this?

The only reason for the low ratings it’s because the app only works on Galaxy Buds+ (The new buds that came out on Feb 2020), not on Galaxy Buds (Previous year) and some people are mad because of that. As long you have the new Buds+ you are good to go!

Question 4

I have a work phone and a personal phone. I need both connected at the same time. Can these earbuds connect to multiple phones?

The answer to your questions is NO.
One pair of buds cannot split the R & L buds to two different devices AT THE SAME TIME.
My (Pandemic driven) solution was - I got a second pair.
Once we started working from home with Zoom / video calls became a regular thing this exact thing occurred to me. have 2 pairs.
My main pair is dedicated to my Note 10+ for music and calls.
The other pair is linked to my laptop and work computer for video calls.
It's just easier to have one pair for each. 
Otherwise, you're pairing and unpairing and re pairing and... That becomes a pain in the butt quick!
I've made phone calls while on zoom meetings and have done this a few times. 
THEN, you can actually wear 1 bud from each set. 
It costs a few bucks but - Problem solved!
