Easy to install. It is fairly quiet imo. It gets the job done (though, it's only been a month).

I bought this disposal to replace a 1/2 HP Insinkerator Badger that had started to leak. Installation was fairly straightforward but it did require that I had to remove the entire disposal and ring. Please note: if you are replacing an Insinkerator disposal this is NOT a straight swap. You will need to replace the mounting ring along with the disposal itself. The rubber splash guard gasket is installed LAST. It does NOT install between the disposal and bottom of the sink. It is pushed down from the top of the drain ring AFTER tightening the disposal from underneath. With that said, after installing, this disposal is super efficient and much quieter than the Badger it replaced. Overall, I am very satisfied with this disposal. Time will tell if it lasts a long time.

Not only was this garbage disposal a good price it was much smaller than my old unit which was a mammoth. It is also extremely quiet compared to any garbage disposal I have encountered before. I don't really use the garbage disposal often but it's a nice unit to have when I do and a huge upgrade from what I had previously.

Let's get the one negative out of the way first. The instructions for installing the sink ring and flange that the grinder hangs from didn't make any sense to me. So I end up using old sink flange. (there universal anyway) Now for the good it's much lighter than my old one, making it easier to hold up on flange to turn locking ring for install. Is so quiet you can hardly hear it working, and finally was easy to hook up the dishwasher drain to the grinder.

Installation is straight forward when replacing an existing disposal. It has been installed for just over a month and it has worked fine. The noise level is low. Happy with that as well.

this was an easy install, replacing a seized up, wimpy disposal. that is why i got this one. it says it handles bones and coffee grounds, no problem. although not any louder than any other disposal, it just exudes power the moment you flip the on switch. i love that. only time will tell how tough this item is. but, it is a Titan, of course........ although it will destroy just about anything i shove down my sink now, i haven't taxed it much at all yet, just light stuff. but, i now have the confidence to put just about anything down in my sink. never settle on a below par item. i would rather have the power and never push it's boundaries than a wimpy unit that dies from light duty items it can't handle... yep... get you a Titan!! crazy thing is, it is not much bigger physically than the wimpy unit it replaced.

Install went smooth, no issues and at a good price. been using for 6-months and the only issue I had was tightening the under mount as it came loose likely due to the vibration, started to leak a bit but caught it in time. not a lot of noise suppression but I expected the unit to be moderately noisy. overall happy with the purchase.

It was shipped pretty fast and was easy to install. Just keep the rubber grommet/gasket, from the old disposal(elbow) to re-use. My old one was at least 20 years old and a blade broke off and was seriously corroded. It was a pain to remove with old style installation. This new one as really easy to install after getting the corroded one off. It is considerably more quiet than the one I had of the same horsepower. Just make sure when it is installed, to put the plug in the drain and some water to test for leaks. If you do, then tighten the 3 screws on that flange underneath the sink to make sure the gasket is squeezed well. Good luck!
