Getting consistent high network speeds that my built-in Ethernet wasn't giving me.

The adapter arrived on time and the price was superb because not only was it an ethernet adapter it had 3 USB3.0 ports too. I tested it on my laptop first. Note I have CenturyLink 1G fiber and am using a USB-C port on a 6 month old Dell Vostro laptop. See photo 3. Most tests had around 820Mbps down and around 220Mbps up. The last time I tested I got 840Mbps up! (see first photo). I bought this primarily for my laptop, but then I thought why not see if it worked on my Samsung S21 smartphone. I was amazed that it worked and connected to the ethernet without doing anything but plugging it in! I turned wifi off and ran Speedtest again. The first time I ran it I got 580 up/660 down. For a phone I thought was was pretty good! I waited a little while and ran it again. This time I got 495 down / 680 up! (See photo 2). While writing this review and while the adapter was plugged into my phone I thought to try putting a USB flash drive into the adapter. So I did. It also worked! So, I am very impressed. I could not be more pleased! Note: Since writing this review I have ordered 4 more!

Worked like a charm to directly hook my computer with no Rj45 port be hard cabled to the internet. I think it doesn't work with the hub though.

When you use an ethernet cable for your laptop instead of plain WIFI, it helps your health, as WIFI is very bad for the brain, and is also carcinogenic. With the new laptops such as Dell's Inspiron laptops, the Ethernet cable connector that used to be in the older laptops is not part of the newer models. So with this Ethernet Adapter, it is great, you can use your Ethernet cable, of any length, so you don't get exposed to WIFI, and it is much better for your health: no headaches, no cancer, even good for young children to watch movies from close! So just put your laptop on Airplane mode, and plug in the Ethernet cable with this adapter. To your GOOD HEALTH and enjoyment!!!

I felt that I needed to change my original rating on the product. While it did fail, the vendor contacted me right away and offered a replacement or refund for the entire price. They were very considerate and wanted to do whatever would make it right. I guess that the failure of one item shouldn't reflect on the entire line. Mine could have been a fluke. I had to order another one, and it's working perfectly. Based on the replacement unit, I have to give this now a 5-star and just put it up to make things happen. The network goes up for a second and then drops. I plugged the main switches and the same thing directly into the back of my router. The vendor contacted me immediately and offered a replacement which is working great.

I got this to work on a Surface Pro 9 which does not have any built in ethernet ports. I was able to use it to install Windows 11 from boot media and configure without issue. The three USB ports are perfect, one for mouse, one for keyboard, and one for USB drive. I only use this for short term use to set up machines, but it is perfect for that task. One thing I really like is that when you use this on multiple machines is that if you use the ethernet connection it will always get the same network address as the MAC address on the Ethernet adapter doesn't change. This is of course provided you keep the connection active. If you put it in a drawer for a month the network address will most likely change.

Working great! Perfect from my needing a LAN port as we laptop does not provide one.

This adapter works great! I get consistent high speeds and it is so nice to be able to plug my usb devices in to it. It works so well I tossed my other one. I have gig internet and get full speeds on my computer (using Lightningbolt 3 port) . It also works when plugged in to my phone (Samsung Note 8) and my wifes computer (Lightningbolt 2 maybe?). The material is good and makes it tough and sturdy, but this also makes it so it isn't super flexible. If your adapter is going to be stuck in a small space or bent a lot be careful because it may eventually break. For that reason it may not be the best for travel unless you can make sure not to bend it. If you can take care of it though I'm pretty sure it will last. Overall it is great and I will probably get another one here soon. I would give it 4.45. My only suggestion to the product designer would be to (if even possible) include a usb-c port in addition to the others so my laptop can charge and connect to ethernet through the same port seeing as Lightningbolt3 is capable of charging as well. It might not be possible or may degrade the incoming signal.

Lo utilizzo con Apple MacBook Air M1 ed è perfetto (chip Realtek), mai disconnessioni inaspettate dei dispositivi né errori di lettura anche con tutte le porte occupate. Giga Ethernet perfetta. buona finitura in metallo. Se fosse appena un po' più sottile e corto sarebbe perfetto. Comunque ottimo acquisto.

性能は文句なしですが通電状態だとかなり熱くなります USB部分はたまに接続が切れるのであまり期待しないほうがいいかも
