WRISTSAVER Wrist Guards – Ideal for Skateboarding, in-line Skating, and Roller Skating

Saved my wrists multible times, unobtrusive yet incredibly sturdy.

Buying these a second time. I took several hard falls at speed in these skating around my neighborhood and my hands and wrists were fine every time - was able to just get back up and resume my workout as of nothing happened. I skate fairly seriously, 7-14 kilometers per workout over uneven gravel and pavement. Not only do the guards save the wrists but they absorb enough of the shock for me to avoid stress injuries in the elbows and shoulders too. The only thing I’d say is if you are doing stuff where an occasional fall is inevitable, like what I’m doing, I’d wear some cycling gloves or something underneath to protect the areas of the palms these guards don’t cover. Despite doing great at saving me from any serious injuries, I’ve scraped up the exposed areas of my hands in these when I fell in the past, even though the scrapes were minor, it’s just something to consider if you’re wearing these and know you’ll be taking some spills.

After breaking my wrist last year I decided to try wrist guards for running slippery, rocky trails. I bought this pair because my daughter has the same for roller skating. Good call! I had a freak fall, landed on my wrists and was totally fine. The guards fit snugly but are comfortable and I still can hold something in my hand. The elastic straps will stretch over time (based on the pair my daughter has) so don't size up.

A good product, at a good price. My son is 6 and skateboards like a maniac. For perspective, he recently dropped in on a 13 foot vert ramp (and landed the drop in as well as several big kick-turns). He has been using this brand of wrist-guards for about two years now (not one pair, we re-buy them when they wear out) and there is another brand we buy as well here and there depending on availability and need. These work perfect, he hasn't had any problems while wearing them. They last him about 3 - 4 months of regular 3-5 day a week use. For a child who uses them every now and then they could last much longer. I think my son tries a lot more 'crazy' tricks because his padding is so good (high quality knee/elbow pads, wrist guards, and a good fitting helmet), so for kids who want to try out ramps these are a must. I gave them a four because they always wear down in the same spot, the long middle strap that wraps around always wears away before the rest of the guard is too worn for use. Maybe the company can find a way to make this area more durable? Again, great product, price is right, I recommend them.

I purchased these for my son (16) as he is now learning to Rollerblade. I have broken my wrists several times while boarding and blading, and if I had worn something like this, I would be able to properly use them along with my fingers, now that I'm closer to 50. 😆 I wised up AFTER the 4th time and had bought an amazing set of wrist guards. This set feels as solid as that set I bought 30 years ago! Very Good Purchase!

These have saved me a few times. I knew these would be the most important tool in my self protection ensemble. My first night riding my electric unicycle my pedal hit the side of speed bump I was going around and I toppled to the ground. I cut one of my right fingers on the pavement and ripped the left elbow of my jacket, but, I didn't break my wrists. I wear leather gloves when I ride now, under my wrist guards. I never use my EUC without my wrist guards. They are getting a little frayed along their hemlines after eight months of use. I will do some hand sewing to repair the seems that are unraveling. . . but for twenty bucks, they've saved me at least twice and I've owned them for nine months, that's not bad.

I ordered a variety of wrist guards and these were far and away the most protective along with the Killer 187's. The "bump" of the guard is too big for my specific needs, which involve still be able to use ski poles and mountain bike handles, but for those not needing to grip anything these seem very protective and high quality.

En las instrucciones de compra para determinar la talla hay q medirse la mano, hasta ahí, bien. Lo que no dice es que la talla m es para gente de menos de 50kg y yo peso 80kg y mido 1,78m. Pero me gusta que las muñequeras queden bien prietas. Y resulta que la talla L es para gente de más de 50kg. Voy a tratar de devolverlas, pero no sé cómo Amazon me dirigió a GB en vez de a una tienda española. En fin a ver si hay alguna solución.

Excellent product! Exactly as advertised. They are a small fit, I'd reccomend for children under 10, or those with smaller hands. My child can easily put them on independently. They've already prevented scratched hands and hurt wrists. I'd absolutely buy these again.

Tras 3 meses de uso puedo decir que son las mejores muñequeras que he usado. Me he caído en bastantes ocasiones y no me he lastimado la muñeca para nada a diferencia de otras muñequeras que había usado anteriormente. El ajuste es perfecto y por ello brindan mucha seguridad. Las recomiendo ampliamente!
