Hi Amazon 👋! Thanks for asking me how everything worked out with the Amtake RCA to HDMI converter. To understand this you should be aware why this was required. Earlier in 2024 I and some friends booked some accommodation in Grasmere via Air B&B, planning to enjoy some of the activities that the Lake District has to offer, but also very much looking forward to playing the 90s classic video game ‘Sensible Soccer’ - one of the attendees has one of those ‘nostalgia’ consoles that you hook up to a TV. Shortly before the trip, dastardly Dave (the Air B&B owner) cancelled our booking. His excuse was a ‘double booking’. Thankfully a friend of one of the attendees was able to come through at short notice with alternative accommodation that his family owned. We checked and double checked with the attendee in question that there was a television in the replacement accommodation. On arrival we discovered: 1. No television (not a surprise, par for the course for the attendee who assured us there would be a television - not a details guy) 2. A ‘Walking with the Wounded’ rally in Grasmere. Which make explain dastardly Dave’s Air B&B cancellation - no doubt spied an opportunity to cancel and then re-let at a higher cost Two of the selfless attendees set out to Workington to procure a television - a weekend without Sensible Soccer is no weekend at all. On arrival at the electronics retailer in Workington, they discovered no television available to purchase had a RCA input. Meanwhile, home party that had stayed in Grasmere got chatting with the occupant of the cottage a couple of cottages along. A lovely person, lovely enough to lend the television in their cottage, as they had no Sensible Soccer based plans themselves. So television acquired, we had the console, but lo and behold - no RCA input. So I ordered this adapter on Amazon Prime on the Friday. Utterly incredible that you can order a RCA adapter on Amazon Prime on a Friday and it can be delivered on a Saturday. Alas, in my excitement I had selected ‘Use My Location’ for the delivery address. I was at least sufficiently alert to include delivery instructions to leave the item on the cottage doorstep, knowing we would be halfway up Helvellyn when the item was delivered - an admirable aspect of the English countryside, that I could be unconcerned about theft. Whilst on Helvellyn, I received the delivery notification, together with a few photo of the parcel leaning against a door. A brown door 😬. Not the white door of the cottage we staying in Looking closer, it became evident that the location Amazon had suggested when I selected ‘Use My Location’ was not my location at all. 3 of us hopped into my trusty Avensis and went off for a trundle around the other cottages in the locale (some interesting reversing down single track lanes after encountering literal and metaphorical dead ends) Lo and behold the adapter was retrieved! Hallelujah! The adapter was easy to install for all but the most obtuse of the group, and worked perfectly. Sensible Soccer was back on the menu! A great time was had by all (although more so those who stayed up to play until 4am than those who were trying to sleep at that ungodly hour) In summary - Amtake RCA to HDMI converter - totally worth the money, and the effort.

Adapter works very well, there’s no picture or sound distortion and no input lag for a standard 4K gaming monitor. You will need a usb plug in order to turn it on of course. Ideal adapter to buy if you have some old game consoles to try out on your gaming monitor. A happy purchase, many thanks! 👍🏻

Was bought because we got a new TV without scart cables and needed to connect the Wii for the grandchildren. Works but picture is grainy, which I think is not the fault of the connection from what I have seen on other reviews. Sound is ok and at least they can still play. Be aware that the usb part also needs a power supply.

Simple, easy to use, does the job. Does require a nearby power source.

Easy to set up and was affordable, but image quality from my Wii is not ideal which is why I've rated it 3/5. audio is fine. Didn't realise it would also need its own power supply too but I probably just forgot to check!

Needed one of these as I was using a PS2 on a new TV without the correct connections on the back of the TV. Easy to use. just connected and worked first time.

Converter work well just basically plug it in makesure you switch over on device and it works

I originally reported the below feedback: "Sadly this product did not work on my smart Tv suing this adapter, no decent picturecame through on the TV although at times the audio came through sporadically, no picture came thorugh at all. Am thoroughly disappointed as my kids wanted to see all their childhood footage I had taken with my Sony digi camera with them and their recently decceased Dad on our 49 inch Sony TV" Followinh my review, the Seller promptly contacted me with an apology by email and ways to resolve the issue. Was very impressed by their swift customer service and proactive communication. Well done!
