Does the bottom of the mat damage the floor underneath it?

absolutely not. we have ceramic tile floors.

are these sticky enough to trap mice or spidrs coming into the house, or are they just for dirt ?

It might trap spiders, but this I believe a mouse could cross. I just got this past week and it seems to pull particulate off the bottom of the shoes pretty well, but I tried to get the bottom sheet to adhere to concrete and that isn't working. Might have to use duct tape to hold in place.

what about bare feet??

I don’t think it would be very comfortable. Also I don’t think it would clean your feet.

whats the daily use? how often do you have to change it?

We have 8-10 construction workers in and out of our building working on an addition. The restrooms and sinks are in the current building and we put these in the doorway between the current building and the addition for them to be able to use shared facility rooms. We usually go about 4 days before changing it. Sometimes we go a week. Depends on the outside conditions.
