Very Good Design
Love these planters. We have a narrow backyard, but still wanted some flowers and herbs. These planters are perfect. Build a simple wooden wall and attached them with a brass screw and a brass washer. Highly recommend having a washer to help secure it. The planters are at a weird angle, but the design is actually great. When you plant make sure to angle the plant at the end. Leave about a 1/2 inch space. This stops the water dripping off issue. They do retain a lot of water so watch over watering. You may want to put in a soil moisture indicator. Overall great product. FYSA do not use the included zip ties. Use some cool hemp rope or brass tie.

Mint plants liked it
Overall I liked this bag for growing mint plants on my balcony. It was a pain to water because there is no lining and if I didn't saturate the soil just right it would just come pouring out the bottom. I had to basically loosen the soil every time or poke a hole in the top to make sure it was going directly into the soil. That being said, it's great for balconies and great for plants like mint that you can't trust to stay in their designated areas without some kind of barrier. I had mine hanging on the shady side of my balcony, and my plants just looped themselves right over the top to get some more sunshine. It looked lovely.

Great idea, but not sure my plants like it
Bought this to grow some herbs on a back patio. It seems sturdy, and I love the idea. My main problem is that it's tricky to water. All the water just pours off the surface and out the front before it can be absorbed by the soil. For this reason I definitely wouldn't use it in indoors, as you'd get water everywhere. I've been able to prop it on an angle and slowly dribble water, which seems to work, but only about half the plants seem to be doing well. The mint and oregano seem happy, the thyme is doing ok. However, I had to take the basil and chamomile out and plant them elsewhere before they died. I might need to do the same with the rosemary. Again, a great idea but I'm glad I didn't jump the gun and buy two.

But some S hooks to hang if needed, but otherwise great!
I have a small apartment patio and thought these planters would be perfect. I’m working on planting my seedlings now and I think this product is exactly what I needed! Nice and sturdy. I truly thought the product was larger when I ordered it, so unfortunately I may need to replant my herbs in the future depending on how many seedlings persevere. But good for now! My one complaint is that the hangers came only with zip ties to hang them. I ended up buying a pack of flat S hooks from Amazon to hang them from my storage door, so no biggie. I’ll throw the zip ties in my junk drawer. I love how many pockets this has. I would LOVE to see a horizontal option for the wooden beams on my patio.

Works great
The first thing that I did was to remove the awful green tag from the front. We hung it on a porch rail and planted some flowers and the flowers have thrived. I should have planted the flowers deeper in the pockets as they are drooping over the front. Next, time I'll know. People are complaining about water draining out the bottom. The material is felt. Of course, the water is not going to be retained. Water the plants slowly and the soil gets plenty of water. Water them fast and the water will run over the top. In the hot Texas sun, we water daily. Overall, we are very pleased with the hanging planter

Great for herbs and leafy veggies!
These pockets are a perfect size for herbs, leafy vegetables, or any small plant. The pockets getting smaller as you go deeper, and the tilt of the fabric, means you'll want to fill them with soil atleast an inch short of the top because watering will pull the soil level and more towards the front lip of the pocket. Be advised, if you plan to line your pocket (I took the suggestion from others), a gallon-sized freezer bag is a good fit if you trim off the zipper just above the label. Make sure you cut the corners to still allow plenty of drainage. The pocket is made of the same unwoven fabric like "smart" pots and, while air pruning is healthy for roots, they dry out very quickly requiring virtually daily watering. Baggie liners will stop that at the expense of your plants getting more root-bound. I'm not worried, though, since you only keep them for a season. I would worry more if I used these for perennials or a houseplant. Word of warning, this product comes with very thin, short cable ties. I suggest stopping by your hardware and buying a supply of standard cable ties, they only cost a few bucks. I linked two 14" cable ties to get all the way around my deck rail. Overall, these plant pockets are a great way to optimize your deck rails for some vertical gardening!

It was really easy to install and came with zip ties. It's more sturdy than I expected! The fabric is good quality but allows water to drain. Great purchase!

They advertise their product as improved "new" version with comparison made with the "old" version. Then they sent me the old version (see photos) and when I tried to raise this with them, the response was that this is due to transport issue (???). I have requested a refund/return as this is "materially different" from their advertisement but no response apart from an offer of $10 (AUD) refund (purchase price was $35).

This plant hanging bag is well made! It’s durable and was easy to install. The description of this product was spot on. My strawberries look so pretty in it hanging on my fence. If you are limited on space for gardening this product is perfect and even if you have lots of space it’s a nice addition to your yard. I will definitely buy this again!!
