Not compatible with my Windows 95 computer tower
Unfortunately, I found that this device had no mention of what OS it was compatible for on Amazon, because I wanted to provide a USB port for my Windows 95B system. Secondly, the information that the company provides for the jumpers on their website is not enough to tell you what they are there for. The company says that the device is compatible with Windows XP and Windows 2000, but these operating systems are usually installed on a computer system that have USB ports, so this product doesn't make sense for those operating systems.

Works great on my 2 old Haas CNC machine. Greatly simplify program transfers and backup. Will require a dedicated formated USB key and a software like USB Floppy manager.

The GoTek works well. The model I received uses the AT32F415 Artery MCU, so I was able to flash the firmware and install FlashFloppy on it without any issues by using the USB A to A cable method. I have the GoTek installed in a 1996 era IBM-PC clone. The FF.CFG file needed to be tweaked slightly to get the unit to boot the DOS 6.22 installation floppy image AND have the 7-segment LED display active. The drive select jumper also needed to be set to S1 (not S0) in my case (see photo). Here's my sample FF.CFG that works perfectly for the IBM-PC: interface = ibmpc host = unspecified indexed-prefix = "DSKA" display-type = 7-seg display-off-secs = 60 display-on-activity = yes
