Better than the brand name
First time buyer of Amazon brand potato chips. I normally stock up on Utz Ripples Original bags at my local supermarket. What enticed me to try the Amazon brand potato chips was-1) pretty solid reviews (average stars 4.4), 2) this bag is roughly $1 cheaper than my brand, 3) this bag is larger than my brand (11oz versus 7.75oz). Upon trying a few chips right out of the bag- I tasted a good potato chips with no terrible aftertaste whatsoever. Each chip had a nice balance of salt and a good crisp to it. I do not buy dips for my potato chips, but I am confident this chip will not disintegrate in the dip container. I am officially switching over to Amazon potato chips! I recommend a try.

Taste: OKAY would only give a 3 for flavor Crunchiness: Excellent Long lasting: held together and stayed fresh longer than some brand names beginning with L or R or P. Critique: Bowl & Basket better flavor and salt ratio. which is why I would gave this a 3 instead of a 5 for taste. Other factors- staying fresh and crunchy bumped it up to a 4 Con: a bit greasy. and odd oil smell value, long lasting crunch quotient Plus: delivered w less breakage than going from supermarket to home.

Constantly out of stock, good product
Love these but its disheartening that after putting them on my monthly order, I have not received any for 4 months! Based on the emails today it may still be another 2 months or more before any are shipped. The product is good quality, not overly salty and we do love them. I'm sure I could buy them at Whole Foods but Amazon has chosen not to open any stores anywhere close to us and because we are so far from a Whole Foods they won't deliver to us either. So we're missing put on even more Prime perks.
