This dressing has no absorbency features - Silicnet is designed for the management of dry to heavy exuding wounds, skin tears, surgical wounds, partial thickness burns, leg and foot ulcers and skin abrasions including blistering and lacerations - 100% open mesh design, distributes wound exudate fast and evenly. Pain free removal without stripping of epidermal cells. Dressing measures 10x15cm and there are 5 sterile, individual dressings per pack - There is sufficient tack for the dressing to remain in place, conforms well to awkward areas and prevents pain on removal. The adhesive is mild but effective and the elasticity of the dressing also makes removal very easy and pain free without it sticking directly to the injury. As the injury dries then yes, these dressings will start to adhere to the wound but again, they’re not problematic to remove. **Q: My daughter has a weepy cut on the top of her foot that won't heal as it keeps rubbing on her shoe and the scab comes off Would this work?** A: Hello, this will not sorry, it is design to act as a barrier to allow exudate to pass through to a top dressing and keep new skin from being removed. Please try Hydraseal Hydrocolloid 7.5cm extra thin, available as a brand of ours on Amazon, this will be ideal. Zelador **Q: Can you cut these to a smaller size?** A: They come in seperate sealed bags, with a peel of backing. You should be able to cut to size very easily, but cannot reseal the bag.
