This โBlowerโ Connector doesnโt โSuckโ
The Motorcraft Blower Connector exceeded my expectations since it was not factory OEM. Its sturdy construction and secure fit ensured a seamless connection, eliminating any worries about loose wiring or potential malfunctions. Installation was a breeze, thanks to the clear instructions provided. The connector's durability gave me confidence that it would withstand the rigors of daily use without any issues. Overall, the Motorcraft Blower Connector proved to be a dependable solution for my automotive needs, and I would highly recommend it to anyone in search of a high-quality replacement part.

Better then original
It is an OEM replacement part better than the original part, it fixed the problem, which was intermittent fan operation. Original had a burned-out pin. This was for a 2014 F-150. Easy enough fix1 hour total time with minimal technical capability required. There are some great videos out there that will walk you thru it. Only issue is, all the wires in the new plug are all the same gauge, three of the wires being spliced into are of a larger gauge and one is significantly smaller in gauge. This makes splicing with the butt connectors provided more challenging. A dedicated crimping tool was nice but not necessary.

Great OEM factory updated wiring pigtail
This wiring pigtail part fixed the factory connector for the blower motor fan speed controller in my wifes 2013 Ford Flex. Its located at the firewall, under the passenger side dash, behind the plastic trim cover thats held in my two push-fit clips. The issue was the ground wire BLK/BLU, the wire on the far right on the connector when its plugged into the speed controller and installed. This wire on the factory harness had shorted out internally and the connector was melting and the ground wire was getting very hot and melting the insulation. You can see a small blob of melted plastic inside the connector in the picture. I cut the old original connector off, and soldered and heat shrunk this replacement pigtail on. Right away, I could tell it fixed the issue, as the ground wire (the far right wire when looking at connector plugged in, under the passenger dash), was not hot anymore and front blower fan was not intermittently cutting out. This also could cause a fire in the vehicle.

Why do they fry?
3rd time replacing. This one lasted for almost 2 years and the Chinese one lasted for 2 months before melting...so needless to say I'm going with the Motorcraft one again. 2015 Ford Expedition with 3.5 ecoboost.

Much needed
This part is very much needed as the blower motor resistor melted and left it charged. Getting it from Amazon is fast and cheaper than the dealership. It comes with crimp connectors and heat shrink tube so it is very easy to install. Fits snug and no more power problems.

2011 Ford Expedition Intermittent Blower Issue
My front air conditioner blower motor would randomly stop working. I replaced the blower motor which did not solve the problem. The problem was actually the connector to the blower motor resistor which is adjacent to the blower motor. The wiring inside the resistor connector is loose causing intermittent operation of the blower motor itself. The replacement of the connector is not difficult. Cut one wire about 2-inches from the old connector and solder the same wire onto the new connector wire. Make sure the orientation of the old and new connector is the same when cutting and soldering the new connector wires. You could also use the crimp connectors and heat shrink tubing included in this kit to splice the old and new connector wires together.

Fixed ac that kept going in and out.
Fixed the ac issue I had in my 2013 Ford f150. Dealer told me I needed a whole new harness. I tracked the issue down to a single wire that would cause ac to stop working when I hit a bump or moved. After removing the connector I found a melted connector on the plug. If your having the same issue, save your self 100s in dealer fees. It's a simple fix that can be completed with minimal tools. I was able to replace the plug in 10 minutes taking my time. I would strongly suggest doing one wire at a time to avoid mixing up. The connector plug can be found behind the glove box. My only complaint is the item doesnt ship prime. Took about a week and just happened to be one of the hottest weeks of the year.

Perfect fit 2015 Ford Expedition EL Platinum
Vehicle: 2015 Ford Expedition EL Platinum with dual climate control. Had a loose wire that would stop the fan from turning. Had to wiggle the wire to get it working again. Tried to open the connector and release the problem wire to fix it that way but couldn't figure out how to get the wires out after removing the locking clip. Anyway, I decided to order this part on Amazon given the reviews. Despite that it says it doesn't fit my vehicle. It is a perfect fit to replace the connector under the passenger side glove box. This connector I believe goes to the blower motor resistor. The butt connectors that come with this item are small. I didn't try to use them, I just soldered the wires together and used the shrink tubing that came with the item. There is a good amount of wire provided with the connector, I decided to not cut it away and instead just used a zip tie to hide the excess after installing. The picture I'm attaching is the original connector that was faulty. Worth noting that this part is available at Ford Parts for about the same price, searchable by part number: WPT688 OR WPT1591

It is a direct fit for my vehicle
A good replacement part. I did note that the conductors in this part are smaller than the original, which overheated. Small wire, high current equals heat and problems. The insulation on the wire of the new part is a better quality, I don't foresee it breaking down too soon.

Easy installation
Super easy to install. After spending over 500 dollars on other parts, it turns out that this is what I needed. Saved me from buying a new truck.
