Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk 3 Slip-On Walking Shoe

Comfortable and long lasting

These are soooo comfy for walking on concrete, & roomy enough for socks without ANY sideways or downward pressure or compression on my feet (long story short my feet were accidentally driven over by a 1-ton van years ago & I can't tolerate any downward pressure on my insteps or side pressure to my arches or ball) Recently I went on a long trip for an extended visit with family & the only XW (Extra wide) Skechers I had were 2 pair with the FauxFur lining i use as winter slippers. I left them at home because I was headed to 70f weather & didn't think about leaving in a new untried pair of Rykas (great tread for ice & the morning I left for the train station it was 20f) in favor of an old beater pair. I was in tears on my 1st day of real walking, I really couldn't bear the prospect of 3+ weeks 2 - 6 miles a day all over a big city only partially covered by a transit system & ordered these that day.The day following my order I found another pair of Skechers locally in a style I was unfamiliar with (not perfect but a huge improvement) at a thrift shop which handled the shoe issue until my new ones arrived. Wow these are still my favorite. The soles have great traction, plenty of bounce... springy even, easy to wash, my feet don't charley horse from ball of foot pressure & far less foot pain than any other brand or style I have found. Not experiencing tired floppy-foot problems with long walks either. Other thoughts: I know several ppl who wear the same style though they don't have the same foot issues who have been equally pleased with these for both comfort & durability.

I'm a big fan of Skechers, have owned 5 pair now and I don't usually stick with any particular athletic shoe brand. Having worn out my workout Skechers, I purchased a pair of Skechers Women's Equalizer Walking Shoes on sale on Black Friday that were awful! It's hard to say that about a pair of these shoes but they were just a lemon pair. So, these Go Walk 3's are a replacement for the replacement pair. I did quite a bit of research before selecting this pair and I found the reviews to be very accurate. 1. These are the lightest athletic shoe I've ever worn 2. There was almost no 'break in' time for these shoes. Worst thing I can say is the width was a bit narrow initially but anyone who's worn Skechers knows they will stretch, which they already have and now fit fine. 3. Very comfortable with decent support 4. Upside of no memory foam is.....there's no memory! So your foot doesn't have to fit in the exact same footprint once it's been established. 5. The squishy Yoga Mat material really is quite comfortable. I will definitely recommend these shoes. No I did not get a discount on these shoes in order to leave a review.

I have and LOVE many GW 2 shoes, this is my first GW 3 shoe. For reference, my feet measure 8 WW, though I often buy 8.5 W (ie, Munro) because I like the extra room in the toe area, or a size 9 M if wide widths are not available. I also have a high arch/instep. For Skechers GW line, I had been buying size 9. With GW 2's (Hypo, Super Sock and Super Breathe), the fit was amazing---the shoes are so light and cushy, I didn't feel like I was wearing shoes. No tightness (length/width/top of the foot) and no slippage, either...absolutely perfect! I ordered the same size 9 for GW 3 and the fit is different like another review stated. Because of my high instep, I feel tightness across the top of both feet, my right in particular. This is the first time I sense a break-in period for me with this line. I'm keeping them, but will probably shop for more 2's in the future. I will update if these break-in to the level of comfort in fit that I've found in GW 2's right out of the box. If you do not have a high instep, I HIGHLY recommend these shoes because the cushion factor has definitely been kicked up another notch in the GW 3 (which is why I gave a 4 instead of a 3). UPDATE: There was a very unexpected, but brief break-in period for me. The overall length seems just a bit shorter than GW2 and the fit across the top of my foot is firm, but it's no longer painful. The cushioned support is UNBELIEVABLE---raising my rating to a 5. I literally had no pain or fatigue at all in my feet after teaching all day---I have heel spurs, weak ankles and wrestle with PF on and off----this is another GREAT shoe from the GW line! July 2015 UPDATE#2: This is kind of embarrassing, but hopefully worth knowing if you go sock-less in your GW's like I do. This particular GW3 model which I have in both beige and black gets stinky. Both colors get stinky. I have a huge collection (GW2 Hypo being my favorite and most worn) so I don't wear them day after day---they're rotated----regularly------with air-dry time (not boxed up)-----and well, they stink. Not across-the-room stink, but they have an odor that my other GW2's that are older have not developed. Going back to 4 stars because I still like them for their insanely comfortable "cushion factor." May try them with sock liners.

These are so comfortable! I walked all over on holiday wearing them, then came home and ordered another pair. They also wash very nicely.

The best trainers I have got they are so comfy and I can wear them all day without causing Me any trouble with my medical conditions that's how great they are

As always they are extremely comfortable my favourite feature is the new design for the toe, my previous pairs the stitching came away they have eliminated this problem.

Extremely comfortable but come up a size too large. Even my wide feet with bunions could have used a size down. Returned and reordered smaller.
