Cambridge IGCSE (R) Art and Design Student's Book

Absolutely wonderful book. A must have for every Igcse art and design student and teacher. Totally recommend it.

Pathetic! The book has come with loose pages, pages in reverse order.. Last pages in front and first pages at the end. Texts cut from margins. Am wondering is this the service people provide - unthinkable of Collins books! That too at Rs. 2500!! A disgrace!

I am a high school art teacher. I found a lot of information on IGCSE sketchbooks. I started doing more research and found this book and the teacher's guide. The teacher's guide is more expensive than the student book. Neither of the books had the option to look inside either or any reviews. However, I still wanted to give it a try, so I went with the student book, since its cheaper. I am so happy I decided to go ahead and buy it! The book simplifies the elements of art, has really good skill activities to test out what you have learned. It provides enough information for students to understand without being overwhelmed by overly lengthy passages. At the beginning of the book, it explains how to use the book. The fundamentals of art, are covered in the first few chapters. Then how to use the book is explained, you can jump around to chapters that are relevant to you, based on what will be beneficial for you at the time. After reading/skimming over the book, I plan to purchase the teacher's version as well. I feel like this book is a great resource to have.

The book was well laid out and had lots of egs of how students developed their portfolios. The info was clear and instructive. Some of the images could have done with being enlarged but still very useful.
