I was skeptical when ordering thinking this would arrive all dented. I was more than impressed to find this item shipped in a very well package box. It was exactly as describe and assembling was minimal and easy (installing wheels and file holder bracket). There were no dents, dings, scratches or any other blemishes. The seller really went above and beyond to ensure their customers received an excellent product. Perfect for any office type setting. Battery replacement is straight forward and automatically resets to factory setting (very simple). This won’t secure like a vault but it does secure very well from prying eyes. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase and the merchant’s performance. :)

Used for important documents and valuables. Purchased 2/10/23. Worked well except I was unable to change the combination to my personal choice. Very low traffic to its location in my house and no one even knew it was there as I covered it with a cloth and stacked notebooks and folders on top. It worked great until last week then I was no longer able to unlock it. I was prepared to take it to a locksmith but before loading I called Amazon Customer Service to see if I had purchased the extended warranty. I had not but I noticed a picture in reviews of a cable connected. If I had known it was battery operated I had forgotten. I found a coompatable cable, charged it for a few minutes, entered the combination and VOILA ! Back in business.

The box was amazingly well packed - thick Styrofoam - reinforced seams and even plastic corner protectors. I was worried based on other reviews but it would have taken a lot of mishandling to damage the cabinet inside. The file cabinet itself is sturdy with clean edges. It looked better than I had imagined. The lock worked flawlessly and I'm very happy with the combination lock rather than a key - much more practical for keeping kids out without the hassle of hiding (and finding) the key. The rollers are smaller than I was thinking but this works out perfectly because it keeps the cabinet low and stable on carpet while still being very easy to roll around. Drawers have smooth action and a sturdy feel. I was very impressed with this product!

I wanted to like this cabinet. It's a decent size and looked well-built when it arrived. Unfortunately the electronic keypad lock failed entirely. The interface went completely dead — no response to the keypad at all. I troubleshot everything I could: replaced the internal batteries with fresh ones, tried powering it through the USB port with an external charger, and confirmed the batteries were seated correctly. Nothing brought the keypad back to life. A lock is the one feature that absolutely has to work on a locking file cabinet, and this one didn't last. If you're considering this cabinet for anything you actually need to keep secure or accessible, I'd think twice. A lock that dies and traps your files defeats the entire purpose. Disappointed with the reliability.

I like the fact that this cabinet was extremely well packed in the carton including plastic corner protectors. The assembly instructions, while grammatically incorrect in parts, are relatively clear and easy to follow. The construction of this cabinet is significantly better than the other two units I purchased and had to return. Drawers slide very easily and the whole front of the unit is perfectly aligned when all the drawers are closed. The reason I gave this metal cabinet 4/5 stars for Sturdiness is while apparently manufactured to very high standards, it is still thin metal and could not be compared to the strength and stability of a wood cabinet. Nevertheless, it should last me for quite some time to come. Additionally, the lock came with instructions, unlike my last purchase, and I found it easy to set up even though these instructions, like the assembly instructions, are grammatically incorrect. This must be a popular cabinet because the black version is not available on Amazon or company's website. This off-white color is actually very nice and not too bright or stark. Bottom line, I am very happy with my purchase.

Purchased this for my college student and it is not only a great storage system on wheels for the dorm, but it has an electronic combination lock so she can keep her valuables safe without having to purchase a separate safe. Very good quality and sleek in design.

This cabinet was good at the begining but now it constantly have issue with the lock/keypad. I have been searching for a solution online with no answer. There is NO PHOTO or specific instructin on how to charge the key pad and WHERE is the charge port?????
