Twinkle Star Garden Hose Filter, Inline Water Hose Filter Attachment

We've had this installed for roughly a year now. Our house is on well water and the iron/manganese buildup was a HUGE problem. I was taking the washer filter off and having to clean and flush the tube after every wash. Sometimes even mid wash if we wound up getting the no fill error. Gets really irritating REALLY fast. Since installing this, we've cleaned it..once? Twice? In around a year. That's delightful! We installed with a female to female hose extension directly to the washer. The seal at the top didn't seal very well, but putting petroleum jelly on the gasket and reinstalling fixed the issue. We turn the water off to it to keep pressure off it when not in use usually, but the last couple of months we've forgotten to even do that step. We haven't had any issues with cracking or anything. All in all, absolutely a fantastic product, 110% recommended.

The Twinkle Star Hose Filter Attachment with 100 Mesh and 40 Mesh Screen has been a major game changer for my sprayer. My 26 gallon sprayer (Fimco — top brand for sprayer pumps and tanks) was constantly clogging the tiny filter under the tank. Every time it clogged I had to flip the tank upside down, dealing with leaks and spilled Roundup. Adding this filter inline with some hose pipe made it much slower to clog, super easy to see when it needs cleaning, and incredibly simple to rinse out. No more flipping the tank. Highly recommend if you're dealing with sprayer clogs. Would I recommend? Yes, 5 stars.

This filter has lasted 2 years in the sun every single day through the cold in the winters given it doesn't get horribly cold here in Kentucky but we have had below zero and we've had snow and with all of mother nature beating on it year round on top of being the filter that filters water into my tank on my pressure washing rig it lasted it held up for two years from purchase date and it finally cracked at the base not enough that it could not be used but I did use it for the rest of my working season until mid-December before ordering it. Please don't mind my grammar, I don't like wasting the time of leaving a review as is.

I used this to keep an oscillating sprinkler inlet screen from clogging every time I used it to water due to the water coming from a well pump. It worked great and they even included an extra screen filter. Right now after using it a couple of days I expect this to last a few years before the UV light degrades the filter housing. Great item for a reasonable price!

PLEASE do not buy this if you are using this indoors. My experience was just like some of the other reviews here, I loved it at first! For about 5 months it worked very well and cleaned up the sediment on the way to my washing machine. And then I woke up at 3: 00 AM in the morning to hear a fountain. Water was spraying OUT OF THE BOTTOM! There is no movement here where I had the filter installed at all , this only happened under normal water pressure. Screwing this in tighter will not fix the problem, that's what I thought at first. Now I have to deal with serious water damage! There is manufacturing issues with this product.

Had trouble finding a decent cordless handheld spa pump/filter to get debris out of the bottom of a hot tub. Bought several and returned them all because they lacked any appreciable suction. Bought this to add to the output of a handheld stick transfer pump I already owned that really moves water well. Works great! Screws onto standard garden hose thread (GHT). Durability yet to be determined as I’ve had it one day.

Ordered this twice, the second one just broke. Used this for a drip irrigation system in the garden. Last season I left it out over the winter and come spring the clear plastic cup had cracked. Ice expands, so I figured it was my fault and ordered a second. It's the middle of August now and I just came home to a fountain of water spraying out of the filter. It developed a hairline crack right along the bottom, and I don't blame myself this time. I'll be ordering a third to finish out the season (at least it's only $14), but will be replacing it with something more reliable next year. For now I'm going to see if I can repair this one with some UV cure superglue.

Filter as described. Ready to use when received, simply attach to the water source and to the hose. The clear sediment bowl makes it easy to see if sediment is accumulating. When disconnected it is easy to drain.
