Great soap mold!
This mold has so improved my soap making. We were previously using a larger, hard plastic mold that was becoming a nightmare to release the soap. This mold makes unmolding a breeze! I also have noticed the soap we pulled from this was further along in the curing process than the soap pulled from our previous molds. Yes, it's small but that makes it easier to handle. The width and depth is a perfect size for bars of soap.Highly recommend. The sides are reinforced so they won't bow out when you fill it and the wide lip catches drips well.

Worth every penny!
This slab mold is just what I was looking for.. amazing for soap making .. the grooves ensure me an even cut soap bar everytime .. the mold is heavy duty and high-quality.. will be ordering another soon and definitely making some soap tutorials with it on my YouTube channel! Highly recommend

Best mold EVER!!
I love this mold! It makes the cleanest rectangle bars. Removes very easily. Soap has very smooth edges. Itโs a bit transparent so you can see the gelling. I force gel by putting the mold in the oven and doesnโt seem to harm the mold. It fits about 2 lbs if batter. I was searching High and low for a sturdy rectangular mold and I finally got one . Iโm even ordering 2 more so I can make more batches at once

Best Soap Mold Hands Down
This is the best soap mold I have ever used and I have now packed my others away. I love the straight edges and sharp corners, it really makes for a great looking bar of soap. It's sturdy enough that it doesn't buckle in the middle and it un-molds like a dream. With it being silicone you can pull it from your soap bar without it cracking (l know I can't be the only one who has cracked a plastic soap mold). Now if I could find it in a 1lb loaf for making test loafs I would be in hog heaven.

Great mold, has held up very well through 3 dozen+ batches... but Amazons price is ridiculous
When I bought this mold here on Amazon, less then 8 months ago, it was $19. Now it is over $29??!! That is a ridiculous price increase IMO. Too bad Amazon doesn't offer the $$ savings they used to. The new price is the only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5.The mold itself is awesome - I have used mine for at least 3 dozen batches of soap and it still works like new (doesn't look quite like new anymore, but works exactly the same)... Silicone tends to hang on to the scent from the most recent batch (or 2) of soap, but this has never affected a new batch at all for me.I love the size/shape of this mold, perfect for 8 1-inch bars of soap if you fill it right up to the top. And it makes for nice smooth, clean edges and corners. If your soap seems to stick to the sides of the mold at all, just wait another day or 2 before removing from the mold. Some soaps can take a bit longer to be ready to remove when you use silicone, since it doesn't breathe at all, so the soap can stay a little softer for longer than it would in a lined wood mold.Great mold, not-so-great price here.... look around.

I can't believe I didn't buy these years ago!
I've used this now for 2 different loaves of cold process soap. It's been great! I will be buying a couple more so I can do multiple loaves at once. For some reason every other silicone mold I've used has been a nightmare to get soap out of, but these are so easy to use. I have a very "soft" recipe I use often, and with my wooden molds I was having to wait 4 days before unmolding. Not the case with these! I waited 24 hours after pouring, popped it in the freezer for 30 minutes, turned it upside-down and the soap slid out nice and slowly. I still had to wait another 12 or so hours before cutting, but that's not an issue at all.I've used pvc pipe for round soaps and gotten my soap stuck in the mold before, but I don't think that will be an issue here. Everything came out very easily. The sides pull out a tiny bit - Just enough to let air get in and release the soap, but not enough to make the sides buckle while you're waiting for your soap to "set up".I love the straight sharp corners, I haven't had those in the past since I was having to line my old molds with freezer paper. No lining, no greasing, and they're so easy to wash! I can't believe how long I debated whether or not I should invest in these. If you're on the fence, I highly recommend just buying one and trying it - I doubt you'll be disappointed!I was also very excited to see it these loaves fit into my soap cutter, I was worried it would be just a touch too wide to fit. My soap cutter is 3 and 5/8 inches wide, and it slid in with just enough wiggle room to not get wedged. It's perfect!I do wish they made one with slightly higher sides, my old mold (and all the other soaps I have made) are the same size in every way except height, and now I'll have to alter my packaging. Not a big deal if my customers don't mind the small height difference!

You won't regret buying this one.
I love this loaf mold. I wish I would've gone with this one initially instead of the flimsy pink silicone mold I purchased because it was more inexpensive. Don't even bother with that one, folks. It flexes and if you want to put cold process soap in it, you come out with different size bars. This one, however, is very sturdy and can hold up to several pounds of oil in it. It's great for melt and pour soap as well. I haven't had any issues with it staining, and it cleans up very easily.

Game changer for my soap making
This soap mold really changed my soaping! Previously I have used large sized molds that often deform my soaps when I try to release the block from the mold. Using this silicone was as game changer. I have used it several times now and each time it releases the soap beautifully. There is no bowing of the sides, even when filled the entire way. There is no prep time for the mold, just pour your soap in to the clean mold. No need to line with parchment paper or wax paper. There are no wrinkles left in the bars of soap, just clean, smooth surface.I use this mold for cold process soaps, though this mold would certainly work well for hot process or melt and pour soaping. Because it is silicone I don't worry about how hot the mold gets during gel phase. It's so nice to not have to think about the mold and just get to focus on making beautiful soaps! After reading about soap making using silicone molds on Soap Queen TV, I did add some sodium lactate to my soap to help harden the loaf for removal from the silicone. Adding 2 tsp. per recipe has worked well for me. I have not tried this mold without sodium lactate yet, but I think that leaving the soap in the mold for a few extra days could take care of any residual issues of hardening so removal is easy.

Used this Mold a few times and I have found ...
Used this Mold a few times and I have found it takes awhile for the soap to come out. Iโm new to soap making so this may be the reason for the boxes to be made where all sides come down.
User
Brilliant
Why didn't I buy one of these before instead of trying cheaper and poor alternatives ( those pink ones from China!) ??This mold holds it's shape perfectly and makes a nice shaped loaf from a 2lb batch of soap. The loaf slips easily out of the mold with no coaxing or damage. Perfect. I'll be buying another.

Flimsy, Easy for Tubes to Fall Over
It's usable but very flimsy. In order for it to work properly without the tubes falling over, you need to have the tubes either spaced out or have the mold almost full of tubes. It's very strategic if you aren't doing a large batch at once.
User
Brilliant.
Expensive, but worth every penny. Much larger and thicker silicone than the ones usually found in the UK and perfect for loofah soaps.

I am so happy with it
Now that I have used this item a couple of times, I am ready to give my 'two cents worth'. I am so impressed with the strength and thickness of this mould, including the sides. There are cheaper loaf moulds but this one is worth every penny. I am so happy with it. I don't have to support the sides when full of soap batter. The size of soap, when cut 3/4" thick, is a very comfortable fit in your hand and is about 3.7 oz ea. for a total of 9 bars of soap. It holds a 2 lb batch of soap with a slight raised center down the loaf. If you fill till level with the sides, you have enough batter left for a small, fancy shape moulded bar or two.
