Carson TriView 3X/5.5X/8.5X Folding Loupe Magnifier with Built-in Case (TV-36), Black

This is the second set of Magnifiers I have purchased. I bought 3 the first time because I have my brothers coming to visit, and they love coins. I wanted to have one for each of us. They were sitting in a box under my desk, and someone trying to be helpful must have tossed the whole box in the waste basket. I'll be more careful with these ones! I love this magnifier, and it's adaptability. It's larger size than many loupes is a real blessing too. And, of course, the most important part -- it is not expensive, but still delivers a distortion free image! Thanks also for the one day delivery! Icing on the cake!

The Carson TV-36 works as expected, but I found it to be a little more trouble than it was worth. Although it is sturdy and well built, the lenses are not labeled, so there is no practical way to identify the correct lens for a specific task, so I end up pulling them all out in a fan shape and then choosing the lens that works best. In my opinion, the Carson GN-44 is a better product since all 3 lenses are built into a single flat square, so you just pull out the one square and use whichever lens you prefer. Consequently, I would recommend the GN-44 over the TV-36, but that is a personal preference. Both are great products.

I think these lenses work great. I use them daily and have no complaints. The choice of magnification allows me to easily examine my coins.

This is great to keep in my purse or pocket. Light weight and enough magnification to read even the smallest of marks. Perfect affordable piece! Thank you

A must have tool to read the fine lines of life. Good quality and efficient.

This is just OK, though since it is cheap, I guess one should not expect much. But the optics are only OK, some loupes are better. Also, just note that these are not jewelry loupes, they are for use in nature or other purposes that require only moderate magnification.

This is cool but, magnifier is not strong as i was expecting from 9x Anyway it is not that good but it does the job for coin recognition

The TV-36 provides a much wider field of view than the TV-15. This is useful when you do not need extreme magnification but a wider field of view.

Die Lupe ist optimal geeignet für die Betrachtung selbst kleiner Details. Alle drei Gläser haben dieselbe Stärke, aber miteinander kombiniert erhöht sich der Vergrößerungsgrad. Dass dadurch das Sichtfeld minimiert wird und der Fokus so nur punktuell ist, ist normal. Ich analysiere innerhalb wissenschaftlicher Untersuchungen die Details von Objekten und bin absolut zufrieden.

Good to use for my stamps collection and reading fine print. Handy and can bring anywhere.

This little magnifier is great! Compact size for purses. The three different sizes are amazing. After having eye surgery I have had a hard time reading a lot of things so this was the perfect gift for myself. Highly recommended! Update; June 2024 I misplaced my magnifier so I bought a second one, when I find the first it will go in my purse. I went 4 days without it and was lost without it, couldn't wait ant any longer 🧐

Fanno quello che devono fare, ma l'oggetto è piuttosto grosso e non sta bene in tasca inoltre è molto "plasticoso".

Las tres lentes tienen el mismo aumento (3X), al sumarlas van dando los aumentos, si usas dos dará 6X y con las tres al mismo tiempo tendrás 8.5 X. Es practica y fácil de transportar, se mantienen limpias y seguras al plegarlas dentro de su soporte.
