Fit our maytag bravos XL. We only used the heating element, but got this just in case. We also bought a new pully for the dryer and replaced both parts at the same time. Part has been used daily for about 6 months. Good part so far and the fix was fairly simple. My dryer works like new. :)

THIS HEATS UP PERFECTLY AND FITS JUST LIKE FACTORY ELEMENT

Purchased in July 2021 as a replacement for a burnt out unit on an 8 year old Samsung dryer. There were many choices of heaters on Amazon, but I popped for this one due to better than average reviews. Now in October 2022 the heater went out again. Disassembly revealed a broken element. I'm disappointed that it didn't last nearly as long as I expected. The dryer serves only us 2 retirees, not a large family. After diagnosing the issue, I decided to order just the element (actually, a 2-pack.. better prepared than not) since there is no need for repeated replacement of the housing duct. I hope the next one does not indicate an annual event

So far so good! Worked right off the bat! Happy to be able to laundry again! I will let you know if I have any issues.

Was right parts but the heating element burnt out within 5 minutes

The thermostat included with this "kit" was defective and did not control the dryer element temperature on the initial cycle which caused the thermal overtemp switch (not re-settable) to open. Now both switches are bad. The element so far seems fine. I contacted the vendor (Blue Stars) and to their credit they have been responsive. I was hoping they could just replace the bad switches to avoid unnecessary shipping but they "finally" decided they don't have the correct part for my model. The parts I received are correct for my model, just defective. I was hoping for an easier and less wasteful resolution to my problem. I have ordered a replacement (of the same item) from Amazon and will return the original kit. I'm hoping the replacement thermostat works.

I bought one of these at the end of December 2020. We are a retired couple so only do laundry twice maybe sometimes 3 times a week. So since then we've only used our dryer with this "new" heater element between 64 to at most 96 times (loads) since we installed it. It worked great... while it worked (for just 8 months). *BUT* it broke 2 nights ago. Now no heat, and the heater element shows open with an ohm meter. This is hardly any usage! It should last much longer than this! The BlueStars product ad on Amazon now shows LIFETIME WARRANTY for this heater element. So I contacted BlueStars support (through their Amazon store front) last night and was told I would hear back from them in 24 hrs. ==== UPDATE ==== The next morning I heard back from Blue Stars service. They asked for pictures of my bad part which I sent. The following day after that I heard back that they processed a full refund for my original purchase cost from Amazon. They did advise that it would take 4 to 5 days for Amazon to complete this. On day 5 I got an email from Amazon that they had just credited my VISA for the full original purchase price. I had already ordered a new replacement from Blue Stars (via Amazon) and it's on its way. I am impressed that Blue Stars honors their advertised warranty. They stand behind their products. I am a happy customer.... The only down side is that I have to repair my dryer again... and this time it's taking 10 days for delivery of the part (not the next day like my original order). But overall I am pleased with the end result. . PS - Remember these heater elements are after market, not OEM. IF I was to buy a replacement OEM heater element from Frigidaire, it would cost me over FOUR TIMES as much money ! And reading the reviews for some of the OEM replacement heater elements from Frigidaire I see at least one review from someone reporting that that one didn't last a year either. These heater elements are similar technology to old style light bulbs, they can last for years... or blow after a few months. With a warranty like this from Blue Stars I don't have to worry. By the way,,,, the second time I took my dryer apart, it only took me 15 minutes to get this part out... (not the hour it took me the first time!)

My Maytag dryer quit heating up so we looked up the heat element part number and found it on Amazon for 1/3 of the Maytag price and it fixed my dryer perfectly! Removing the bad one and replacing it was a bit of a chore but my son got it done and now I have a working dryer again . Highly recommend!

Was easy to swap out the old one. Worked as advertised and we are drying clothes again. Only downside was waiting for shipping to Alberta, Canada. But for about $80.00 with shipping versus $400+ for the appliance guy, worth the wait.

Unfortunately, it has been defective for 3 weeks now and despite sending an email to the supplier, a call to Amazon customer support followed by an email to Amazon support according to the instructions received from the Amazon agent for items under warranty, I still have not heard from anyone and my dryer cannot function properly without this part. I expected more help from Amazon, especially for a part still under warranty.
