It could help...
Good product for this case. My friend had an accident with her dog. Damage to the tibial plateau was found on MRI. Recommended treatment was non- weight baring 6 weeks. She has a small farm and had to walk to take care of her animals. This brace really relieved the pressure in the joint. She wore one out and got another since it relieved the pain. She healed on time and now walks with no assistance, brace or otherwise.

It does the job when others didn't
It's the only brace that has worked easily for me. I bought it a year or so ago and I keep ordering a replacement to last until I get TKR surgery. Some were too complicated to fit, some sleeve ones didn't relieve the grinding bone on bone. The doctor offered ideas but always too costly. I did have an OSSER that cost $500. but it would fall off as I walked. I walk everyday; I'm 80 years old. but not heavy, not thin either. "Try it you'll like it"

Very cheap materials, no customer service.
Do yourselves a big favor and do not purchase this OA brace. The Brace is made of thin flimsy plastic and it only has 2 velcro attachment straps. The velcro does not hold together at all it constantly separates. I waited to use mine until my doctor's appointment and by the time I used it the sellers warrant was over. The plastic on the brace broke in 2 days. I found a used Breg Fusion brace on ebay at 1/4 of the price as this one and its well made, stays in place and feels much better on my knee.

Great brace
Help a lot. Was able to continue working 12 hr shifts thanks to this brace. Some issues keeping it in correct place if worn over clothing.

Works well but needs better materials
I've had the brace for over a year. It does secure my knee as I do some leg presses in the 350-450 lbs. range. Unfortunately the piece that secures the top strap on one side just came apart. I tried tightening the with an allen wrench but it looks like it just snapped off from the base and cannot be fixed. Not happy to have to buy another $200 brace.

Very good customer service.
This the best and most usable unloader I have encountered so far--and I have tried several. It is light, easily put on and removed, and it unloads all three compartments well. Unfortunately, one of the lower parts that holds the straps in place came off within a week of purchase--to their great credit, DDS immediately shipped me a brand new complete unloader brace; you can't overlook customer service like that. In the future, they probably need to use a more rugged attachment for the strap holder parts, e.g. nuts and bolts, etc., instead of the too fragile current parts. But I am very satisfied with this unloader and their superb customer service. I am a 73yo physician assistant in California, and this brace and other measures I have taken will hopefully allow me to delay or avoid entirely a need for a partial or total knee replacement. This is serious and invasive surgery with an often very painful and prolonged necessary rehabilitation period. Try all conservative measures first. There is a saying in medicine: "To a hammer, every problem looks like a nail...to a surgeon, every problem looks like a surgical problem". And I am not denying that sometimes replacement is necessary and required.

I need to know before buying.
The plastic is too thin and the parts that hold the straps and break after a short time of having it tighten down.
