Not a good choice for maple syrup filtering. All my finished (filtered) syrup is absolutely full of niter.

Can't get my review to post. Trying again. Honesty doesn't seem to fulfill az rules. RME The filter bag: excellent quality. Highly recommended by people who know preparedness. 1 micron filtration is excellent. Quality of bag is excellent. We bought this to use as a pre-filter for emergency preparedness to supplement our regular supplies. Well also use part of primitive camping supplies.

I use them in my leaf/debris filter. They work extremely will for removing fine particles from the water and pet hair before the sand filter. I use one filter a week. Take it out, hose it off, and when I have a couple, I throw them in the washing machine. Water is crystal clear.

This sock performs well. It is big enough to process quite a lot of liquid quickly.

Metal ring not conducive for saltwater aquarium

These are pretty heavy duty filters. Bought it to clean used motor oil and used 3 of them to clean 40gallons worth

Ordered to filter lake water to remove algae and pollen. They exceeded my expectations for quality for sure. Only draw back was hard to rinse out but still awesome

These socks are not felt but nylon

Good for filtering used oils I have filtered over 400 liters of veg oil through one so far and still working great
