the plastic hinges holding each part will break if too much pressure is applied... i say this because one of them has a big crackbut it's still holding up, and works as advertisedone thing you should know, is that attaching a speedlite and extending the boom makes it impossible to stand without some form of support.... i try to tie a bag on the other end and make to make doon another note, the seller made a few mistakes with my order and went to great lengths to make me happy... kudos to them

Great product if you are using it with light equipment. If it is heavy, do not extend it to much otherwise the weak structure will bend. This product is weaker then advertised.

Light and sturdy. Quick-action releases for adjusting height. Screw mount on top for using camera and flash tripod mounts. The price is fantastic.Personal preference: The telescoping sections don't have knobs but latches. I miss the knobs because I use them to hang remotes and battery packs. Also, the sections have two grooves on the tubes, probably for stability. However, I miss being able to loosen a knob and spin a section to adjust the flash head. Now I have to spin the whole stand or bring down the height to spin the bracket head. This is minor stuff.

I really think this light stand was a great purchase. It is easily adjustable, has a wide base, and definitely has served it's purpose. The one thing I will warn against though is that if you plan to use it past the 6'-6.5' "setting" look for something with a heavier base. This product is more for portability in my opinion based on how lightweight it is. I would, personally not use it past 6'-6.5'.

Would have given it five stars, as it works great, but the company keeps sending me review requests which is just annoying. It's a little flimsy at the joints, so I don't extend it all the way, but otherwise great.

The stand is ok if you don't have to set it up to often. I'm a big guy and had a problem to tighten the middle clamp holding the boom. On the first use it didn't squeeze the bar enough to prevent sliding. After few usage it seems to holding up. Not very strong person might need to use pliers to get it going.

Great value for the price. With any decent sized umbrella you will definitely want a sandbag to prevent against tips. Also is hard to collapse and set up because of the way it folds. Is easy to store once folded, though.

The longest piece is at least 31 inches long and the shortest is 28 inches, so I am mystified as to how to collapse this to 24-25 inches. Without any disassembly this was definitely at least 36 inches long when fully collapsed. I would not have been able to fit it in my luggage.

Pues creo que el error fue mio al no saber escoger bien, es un stand muy ligero e inestable, para uso de speed light, creo que apenas esta bien hay que tener un ayudante que lo sostenga.

Muy pequeño e inestable, creo que lo usaré sólo para sujetar un reflector, ya que se tambalea. El instructivo no es claro
