I have some gut health problems(can’t name it as the admins will censor me) but my gut problems have caused me to have a lower quality of life for the last 3 1/2 yrs. I’ve tried all kinds of OTCs, nothing really worked and so I decided to try this. I started taking this about 2 weeks ago. As expensive as it is, I ordered another one because since taking this, my tummy problems have gone down immensely! No more bubble guts, no more diarrhea, no more pain, fatigue or discomfort and my movements seem to be normal again. I can tolerate bacon & steak again & im drinking coffee again so I can only assume that it’s because of taking this product. I also was able to stop taking my PPI. This product really worked for me. Everyone is different so I can only testify for myself and I am thankful. One thing I need to stress is that I took it for 3 weeks straight and that did cause me to have really bad constipation so I stopped using it but I have my quality of life back & I will now only use it when I think it’s needed and it won’t be every day now. 5 stars.

Expensive but it works great to repair stomach lining. Taste is mild as well.

It works for me , I wanted to get of a PPI Rx and while it cost more it helps the stomach and usually after the 1st jar if you need a 2nd jar it may take years to use as it is very effective

If you've been stuck on prescription drugs like rabeprazole, or find yourself often reaching for tums, pepto, rolaids, zantac, etc., then you owe it to your health to a) start eating better (d'uh) but also b) check out Glutagenics. I've never found a price as good as the $39 I see here on Amazon and I've used this product for two years now. I had taken rabeprazole for 4 years, then started seeing an ND who said to get off it as we need stomach acid to help digest food and get the enzymes and nutrition out of it. As soon as I got off it though, heartburn and acid reflux went nuts. It was painful, and you don't want to suffer through that for extended lengths of time because it can erode your esophagus and cause esophageal cancer or Barrett's Esophagus. Enter Glutagenics. After only a couple days my heartburn was gone. I was taking 1tsp in water in the morning and one at night. If you have bad GERD then you may wish to take 1tsp four times a day, one with each meal then one just before bedtime, for the first week until you notice symptoms subside completely. I changed to just an L-Glutamine powder because I found it to be much cheaper, but because I wasn't watching my diet and still eating a lot of animal protein, over-eating and drinking too much alcohol on the week-ends the symptoms returned. Turns out the L-Glutamine only gives you muscle relief (ie - the esophageal sphincter is a muscle) and strengthens your digestive tract, while your esophagus lining is coated by the licorice extract and aloe extract, so I was missing those two components. A return to the Glutagenics and I had my relief again. These days I try to consume substantially less animal protein, eat more vegetables thanks to the Vitamix blender I picked up, and I'm finding that even if I only take the Glutagenics a couple times a week I don't get return symptoms. If I'm going to barbecue up some slow smoked ribs on a week-end (rarity) and drink a little more than usual then I'll have a hit of the Glutagenics a few times in the day leading up to those meals/events. This is an amazing product, thank you Metagenics.

I have only been using Glutagenics for 10 days. I think that it smells like vanilla. The powder dissolves very easily in water, no lumps. The taste is mild and I swallow it easily. I won't have another lab test for about two months to see if the powder has solved my health issues.

Night time acid reflux is gone almost immediately. It is expensive, but worth every penny to get rid of that horrible burning fast. I mix 1 scoope in about 2oz of water,and the pain is gone.

I used the entire canister. Only one teaspoon Glutagenics, each morning, with one tablespoon of Metamucil Orange-Smooth in about 8oz of water. This definitely helped my mucous production internally, but towards the end I started to feel like maybe I was overproducing based on the consistency of my bowel movements/etc. Be sure to consult a doctor and/or nutritionist while you add/alter supplements to your diet. It didn't upset my stomach, and the flavor basically "vanilla-izes" and sweetens anything it's in. No it does not taste at all like licorice. Not even a little bit. If this tastes like licorice, then vanilla really tastes like honey...or marshmallows or something - that would be the same comparison. I guess the worst I can say is that it has a placebo effect? Which still isn't bad. I mean, if a placebo works, I don't care so long as I feel better. Just never tell me it's a placebo and we'll be copacetic.

No heart burn since starting it 2 days ago, except for this afternoon when mild heartburn after drinking coffee and eating several pieces of dark chocolate (big surprise! But it has been much, much worse after such a thing than today). I've also been belching much less. It is very soon to say, but so far the change is amazing and I have hope that I will be able to heal my esophagus this way instead of going on acid reducers.

It's one of the better mixes of glutamine that assists in rebuilding the gut....I am very pleased. Have used it before and am very pleased it is available here...

I purchased for gastritis after reading the reviews….may be it is good for them but for me it made my symptoms even more worst….gave me severe burning pain under ribs

My stomach issues started to clear up within days of taking this. I had also quit coffee and reduced my meat intake so it is hard to know how much of a factor is was. I feel it helped considerably. It is easy to take, it does not have an unpleasant taste.

As soon as I tried this product, I was sick. I have an allergic reaction each time! No way of returning :(
