Good color match for Sedna Gold - excellent value
This is my first deployment clasp. I don't like leather watch straps, besides none ever fit me. (21cm wrist) I bought this clasp to try the idea out before committing to a genuine Omega clasp. (at 50x the cost) This clasp makes the leather strap tolerable. It extends the straps' usability to the last hole, something a buckle can't do. This clasp was apparently sized to accommodate a thicker strap. For my purposes it could be thinner. (my strap is 2mm) The 16mm width option is correct for a standard Omega FOiS strap. Amazingly - the color match of the "Rose Gold" model to "Sedna Gold" is indistinguishable. The 1.5mm spring bar provided is usable, but not correct for an Omega strap, so buy a 2mm x 16mm spring bar if it's important to you. (or reuse the original) I do not fault the clasp, but potential buyers should consider if they intend to use the strap's original "loop" for the surplus tang length, or if another will be needed. I may stitch mine to the strap-end where the buckle was. Some purchase reviews complain of sharp edges. While I can see what they mean and the edges are not well smoothed, this was not a problem for me and I experienced no discomfort. Considering this was an experiment, it really couldn't have worked out much better. Quality is better than expected for the price and color match is spot-on. As a result, I hate leather straps a little less now. If stuck with leather, it's a deployment clasp for me from now on. I may even get a spare.

It works
I bought this deployant clasp for my Tudor Black Bay Chrono when I replaced the bracelet for a Rubberb strap. I didn’t want to use a standard buckle for the rubber strap to prevent unnecessary wear on the rubber. The 18mm butterfly clasp worked okay, but due to the length of the strap it didn’t wear on the bottom of my wrist. It sat half way below the center of my wrist. It held my watch secure, but became a little uncomfortable after wearing it all day. I ended up purchasing a “Tudor” deployant buckle on Etsy for $35 that wears much better and looks like the Tudor OEM buckle for a fraction of the price. As an aside, the Rubberb strap is awesome and you should check them out.

Don't doubt the quality based on price
EDITED ... See Below I collect watches and, like most people who collect anything, I have way too many of them. On nice watches, you tend to find, or use, nice straps ... which can be expensive. Personally, I like stingray straps a lot, and have them on half my sport watches, the other half have bracelets. Bending straps back and forth buckling them wears the strap out. You can avoid that by using deployment clasps. I needed a new deployment clasp for a new stingray strap I was putting on a new PVD Black/Gold Seiko Solar dive watch I recently acquired. I ordered one from my usual supplier in gold, and I ordered this one in gold as well as PVD Black. These cost about a fourth what I pay for the others, and these come with a tool and pins that my much more expensive ones do not. The quality seems identical, so I used this one ... I wanted to see how this holds up. The gold finish may wash off the first time I shower with it ... but it looks every bit as good. The mechanism may self destruct right away ... but it looks every bit as good and feels like the mechanism is the same. If it turns out to be disappointing, I'll amend this review but I am very favorably impressed. Side by side, I do not think anyone would have a clue which was the much more expensive. EDITED ... Now that I have bought a dozen or so, and used these, in stainless, gold, rose gold and PVD, long enough to offer an evaluation, I'm more impressed than I was initially. I'll never spend several times as much for a deployment clasp again. These are AT LEAST as good.

Incredibly Flimsy
Superficially, this product is fantastic. I see no blemishes on its exterior. It fits perfectly on my band. However, there is one major problem: the push buttons are extremely sensitive. They require almost no force in order to release the clasp from itself; in fact, with one finger I can ever so slightly exert the tiniest amount of force on just one of the push buttons and it'll release the locking mechanism. As a result the clasp is easily disengaged with a bend of the wrist. If it wasn't for the strap loops, my watch would have fallen. Its unfortunate because this product has some great reviews. Perhaps I was just unlucky and received a dud.
