Textbook of Veterinary Internal Medicine Expert Consult: Expert Consult, 7e(2 Volume Set) 7th Edition

I bought this for myself as a gift. Congratulations for completing your first surgery! It is amazing. I have seen many veterinarians out in practice with this on their shelves, or more frequently, on the table beside them as they carefully work through a complicated case. It is the only book recommended by every professor in practically every class.

Great reference for a veterinary student. Will probably use more as a reference once I graduate, but it has a lot of information. Almost too much, but that never hurts. When professor's didn't explain something too well, I read the text and felt like I understood much better--so that's a success. Buy used if you can since it's so expensive.

This book is for a professional and not for a lay person. You need to be either a veterinarian or a physician to understand it so don't buy it if you are not. I am a physician who is board certified in internal medicine. I bought it out of interest and found it similar to human internal medicine texts.

This book is one of the best for someone that really wants to learn veterinary medicine, the only problem is that this particular edition falls apart only with mild, careful use. The access to the Internet with extra treats and updates is a great idea though.

Spent $200 on this and only received one volume. By the time I realized it was a set, was outside the return window, and unable to get any kind of support on it. Absolute trash.

A complete text book on small animal medicine love it.

Complete masterwork. Everything about veterinary internal medicine is widely explained in this books. Internet access through experconsult is very interestin too. A must have!
