(Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood) Review: Great Book - I purchased this for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves Daniel Tiger so of course she loved this book. It gives us great quality time sitting together and reading it. Daniel Tiger always brings so many positive reinforcements to children. I highly recommend this book for a 2 year old. Review: Very Helpful How Closely This Parallels the Show - So for our son, who has Autism among other things, trying to get him to actually sit for a book that wasn't one of the books being read to him before around 15 months, is brutally difficult. Because as far as he's concerned, that's his Canon of literature and no other books need apply. I have books I've been trying for the past 2 years to get him to sit through with absolutely zero luck. This book is one of the rare exceptions we've been able to get him to tolerate in that way (and I've been trying for months at that as it is!). I think what made that possible is that he actually likes season one of Daniel Tiger, and because this book parallels what he saw on the shows, it seemed more familiar to him, and allowed him to slowly be stretched into allowing it onto his list of tolerated and accepted texts. So for me, a huge selling point of this book is how closely it follows the show. I also really like that it has two different text boxes...one with a more wordy plot line you can read, and one box that's just a brief one-liner. So we were able to start out with the one-liner and move our way up...I totally love that as a feature, it's great for kids who might struggle with maintaining attention on something less desirable to them.

Great for little Daniel fans and their adults
Daniel Tiger is my 18 mo grand daughter's favorite. She is only allowed 30 min of TV a day and Daniel is her choice. The books are great so we can read and talk about the characters after the TV show. The lessons are based on Mr. Rodgers Neighborhood. Not only do they teach children, but also adults. They teach adults how to talk to children in a respectful and understanding way. This is a nice board book with great pictures. It has some pages with very simple text at the bottom & more complex text on the top. Adds to the length of time the book can be useful for young kids.

Great hardboard book that follows the PBS television story of Daniel Tiger!
Great hardboard book that follows the PBS television story of Daniel Tiger! Our granddaughter loves to watch and sing and dance along with Daniel Tiger and now she loves to sit and read along the stories from the books with Daddy and Mommy and her grandparents!

Nice sturdy book
Very cute book. I like that it is a board book because our oldest child, who loves Daniel Tiger, can read it and our youngest child can't damage it! Nice little book about Daniel and Prince Wednesday.

Favorite!
This is my almost 2 year old toddler's favorite book. We had a hard time getting him interested in reading for the longest time -- he would just throw them across the room. Until this book. We bought him 4 other Daniel books which he also likes, but this one is by far his favorite.

I like this but the book so much
I like this but the book so much! Yet, it came bent...instead of being flat, it was curved so it doesnt sit flat on a flat surface. I think it's the manufacturing because the packaging was very protected with bubble paper, still works and not worth the hassle for a return so we kept it :)

me l' aspettavo con più pagine ma è un prodotto rilegato bene e, anche se in inglese, il mio bimbo di due anni lo ha apprezzato tantissimo
