This uses a battery, which lasts quite a long time. The light function allows you to see the time by pressing a button. The alarm is easy to set and the size and colour were perfect for my decor. It is good value for money. Very sturdy as I have knocked it on the floor a few times. The ticking is not really apparent until you hear it, it's a faint sound and probably only audible if you have sensitive hearing - really sensitive hearing.

Bedside alarm clock is very quite ! However if you still have good hearing you will possibly still hear it. The light is good and reading the time is easy at night. Value for money. A good travel clock easy to use and set.

This is the perfect bedtime clock for me. I'm a light sleeper and can't stand a clock that ticks or shines in the dark. It is light and has a clear face. Very easy to read and just what I wanted. It even has a snooze light. So if I do wake up, I just can press the button and it temporarily lights up to show me the time. It has an alarm facility and it's simple to put in the battery, which is an AA.

I needed a small bedside clock as I'm running out of room. It also needed to be readable. This clock ticked all those boxes. Big black numbers and black hands make it easy to read. It also has a good alarm too. I'm very pleased with this clock, it meets all of my needs. I would reccomend it.

The clock cannot keep an accurate time. Unfortunately, it loses about 3 minutes overnight. So, it is useful as a temporary holiday clock, but it is not useful as an 'every day' alarm clock. It is a pity that it is not accurate. In this century, all clocks should be accurate, even cheap clocks. This is not the year 1723. Its good points are: There is no ticking sound. It looks nice. It only needs one battery (AA). It is easy to load the battery. It is easy to set the alarm time with a reasonable accuracy. Just put the main hands to the desired time and turn the little alarm setting arm until a click is heard.

This clock is a bit of a find. I have gone through four or five travel alarms in the recent past. In contrast to all of them, this one is accurate, reliable and (important for those of us with dodgy hearing) loud enough. The accuracy is obviously a factor of the analogue, not digital, design. With a couple of goes, I was able to set clock and alarm with an accuracy of +/- two minutes. Setting up is simplicity itself - you do need to have a reasonable amount of digital dexterity, as the control buttons are of the push and turn at the same time variety. The snooze function works fine,as does the light, activated by the same front-mounted button. The face and hands are clear and readable at the relevant distance for the average alarm clock. Power is 1xAA battery. In summary, I really can recommend this clock.
