Monoprice 6inch Premium 3.5mm Stereo Female to 2RCA Male 22AWG Cable (Gold Plated) - Black

My Android head unit for my car stereo has L/R aux RCA inputs. I wanted to make a 3.5mm input jack so I could connect an AUX cable if I ever needed to. I used this adapter to go from the stereo's inputs to a female 3.5mm jack. Then I added a panel mount 3.5mm jack and connected that to this adapter. The end result is clean and it almost looks like it came that way from the factory. This is a quality adapter that should work for most car stereos with RCA inputs.

I purchased this splitter to primarily connect my GOgroove BlueGate Bluetooth Adapter Wireless Receiver with A2DP Technology for Home Stereo , Portable Speakers , Headphones , Car Music Sound Systems , & More 3.5mm Media Devices to my car stereo through AV connections in the console. I have also used it on several stereo receivers. The small length of this splitter makes it very portable and easy to handle. The build of the product seems very good and solid. The two cables on it are very sturdy and thick. The plugs are also large making them easy to handle. The only negative I have encountered is from the thickness of the cables that result in them being stiff. In small places, like inside the center console of a vehicle, this stiffness could be an issue. In my vehicle, it forces the lighter connection from my GOgroove receiver into the back wall of my console causing a sharp bend in its wire. If you were not working in a tight area, then this stiffness would not be a problem. In fact, working in the back of a stereo receiver with many connections, this could be seen as a positive. The quality of the connection has been good and there have been no trouble with it. But, the connection does not seem as solid as other RCA connectors that I have. It is not a loose connection, but the insertion and removal requires much less force and does not have that "locked-in" feeling of other RCA cables. Since the connection itself has not given me any issues, including in a moving car, then I cannot take any stars off for this, but want you to be aware of it. I could see these as potentially pulling out on their own if you were sliding a receiver out from a entertainment center and the cable received tension. Again, some people could see this as a positive as it will disconnect instead of putting a lot of tension on your cabling. So far I am completely satisfied with this product and must give it 5 stars despite my perceived negatives. These negatives are mainly from the application I am trying to use this product in and not from the product itself. However, you should be aware of them so you can make the best decision for your needs.

Very, very solid feeling little adapter here. The build quality is rugged with thick yet pliant cables and an assembly that doesn't feel like it'll fall apart any time soon, certainly not with regular use. The leads are especially noteworthy here, in that they aren't flat prongs like most RCA cables but full rings with a smooth but precise fit with your typical RCA plug. The 3.5mm end is of similar quality, accepting a 3.5mm male lead and pretty much locking in when plugged. As far as use, there is no interference or distortion that I can perceive, so the cable works perfectly as far as can be told. For some reason this kind of cable adapter is very hard to find in box stores. Apparently there's not much need for 2xM RCA-to-3.5mm output, but I had to have it to run the PS4's optical output through a converter and out my PC's speakers. Overall I am quite happy and I will look toward Monoprice in the future for any cabling needs. As a bonus, they sent me a bag of Krave with the purchase. Lolz!

All I want is to use my earphones on my Vizio "smart" TV that decided not to have a 3.5mm audio jack built-in. This product would've been great... if my TV's right-channel (red) port worked. If I had tried to push it in any further, I would've busted it in. At first, I thought that the product was to blame, but oddly enough, the left-channel (white) port on the TV worked fine, and when I plugged in the corresponding cable, the quality of the sound seemed good, although my right-ear was getting jealous of the left-ear hogging up all the sound. Still, for the price, I'm deciding to keep it in the event I'll need it elsewhere since it did work when I connected them to other devices whose ports did work; this is also why I've rated it 4-stars since it could have worked, but my TV rebelled. I've added a couple more pictures showing how thick these cables are.

This cable was perfect for the application - feeding an RCA audio output jack pair (red and white male end of cable) on a TV to a headphone jack cable on a desktop computer speaker system (single hole 3.5 female end of cable). Cable is solid build but still quite bendable, it feels like a premium cable from a well known manufacturer. No hum or crackle, just works great. Nice finger dimple on the headphone jack end to make it easy to grip. Now my older desktop speaker + subwoofer setup is making my small TV sound way better than the built in speakers. Item itself is labeled Monoprice, which must be what MPI stands for as the manufacturer listing.

I used this to hook my new DAC up to a set of powered monitors, and it works perfectly. The cable sleeving feels chunky and durable, and the ends aren't so tight that you have to force them onto the RCA outlets. Excellent product for a very good price.

I was looking for a high quality and aesthetically pleasing cable to connect my Asus U7 to my Klipsch Promedia 2.1 speakers. Touting a thick 22AWG cable and gold plated contacts, this product seemed ideal for my purposes as 'Male RCA to 3.5mm female cables' are relatively difficult to come by. Pros: 22AWG cable Gold plated contacts Cheap! High quality construction Functions perfectly Cons: The RCA's were a little stiff, requiring an almost 'unnerving' amount of force to connect to the corresponding plugs Also took nearly two weeks to arrive but that was because I had not noticed it was shipping from America until after I had bought it! Overall: It would be unfair not to recommend this product. The construction is superb and it works perfectly.

Great quality. I ordered two rca male into 3.5mm female, instead I have received two rca into single rca female. Since the quality is good I have kept it instead of replacing.

This seems like a very high quality item. Both plugs, the 3.5mm jack, and the cabling are all above anything I have had before. I expect it to last a long time and, given the relatively high price compared to other similar adapters, am pleased that it turned out to be of such good quality.
