This is a great light and magnifier. I gave my son one for a project he was working on. He really liked it and when I needed a light like this, I bought one too. Later my Mom was having trouble reading labels and other things, so I sent her one. She was so happy, it worked so well for her.

I went through 4 different lamp/magnifying glasses like thins before I found this one. I cross stitch and I really didn't want to end up screwing up my eyes trying to see especially in my dim room when I am doing tiny stitches. this light is absolutely perfect. It is big enough, it lets me lean back on my couch as long as it is clipped to the little board I use to put my cross stitch on, and the light is nice and bright. The only issue I have is that the neck is too short. I really wish it were longer so I could make it stay better in the position i want. Otherwise it is absolutely perfect. So much so, that when I showed it to my mother she right away requested I get one for my step-father's birthday because his eyesight is failing him and he needs it to be able to use the computer, keyboard, and read books. I ordered it right away. The price is honestly worth it. At first I was a little weary of paying 30 dollars for it but now having had it for as long as I have, I absolutely would buy it again. I have started using it for so many things. I used it when I painted details on my graduation cap, when I was crocheting in the dark room, I will probably be using it when I am painting my next painting too. The lamp is so perfect and that magnifying glass is big enough that it does not distort anything. I am absolutely blown away. Go buy it now!!!

I paint miniatures for as a hobby and it’s been frustrating to be able to paint the details the way I used to. I bought this to help and the light helps if I work on them at night. The quality looks good and seems solid for now now. Installation and use has been a breeze and it’s been quite stable where I placed it last night. I did use last night after assembling a desk I bought and organizing my miniatures, paints and other accessories and had been impressed with magnification while I was assembling a model last night and the magnification is just perfect and made assembly much easier for me. I haven’t tried out the stand yet, so I can’t I can’t attest to its stability with that yet, but does work great with the clamp and the size is a perfect fit for my needs.

I'm an art student at the college and realized I was having a hard time seeing up close for details in my printmaking class. This light has really helped me this semester. It's heavy, solid, and easy to use and easy for me to store in the classroom too. I do have to be careful where I put the base or I smack it around sometimes when using it, but that's just me being clumsy I think. Keep the glass/lens clean and it works wonderfully. Just wish it had a battery pack of some sort so I wasn't tethered to an outlet when using it. Other than that, I love it!

I bought this for my grandson for Christmas. He LOVES it!! He paints very small figures and says he can really put the details on easier.

Its very convenient and works exactly like you imagine. Its stable, has a heavy base so it doesn't tip over, the lighting could be a bit brighter, but I might be going blind. Was able to paint my minis pretty well, though lighting doesn't make up for lack of artistic talent. Very adjustable.

Very simple to use, magnify glass is clear, and the base is very stable. But you need to make sure it stay away from direct sunlight or something on your table will start burning.
