Allergies finally under control
My beagle is 33 months old (almost 3 years old) and has been struggling with allergies since I got him at 8 weeks old. I had tried everything, and finally had my vet send his blood out for an allergy test. We were shocked by how many food allergies he had, and only 4 kinds didn't have any of his allergies - the Salmon and Whitefish are 2 of them. Most places will say fish, but then add other protein by-products, making the name misleading and Open Farms does not do that. Their ingredient list is easy to read. For the first time in the time since he came to me, his mouth isn't bright red. He still has a couple environmental allergies, but my goodness I am so grateful to Open Farms for finally allowing me to feel like a good dog dad. I understand the price is a bit much when people first see it, but for me it has been worth it seeing my dog not scratch and cry constantly. My dog loves the food. It does smell like fish, but it does not make my dog smell like fish. My dog does try to fool me by using his buttons to ask for more food, pretending I forgot to feed him where he likes it that much! I highly recommend it, even if your dog does not suffer from allergies.

Dogs love this brand of dog food.
My dogs really like this dog food. They eat it up when we put it in their bowls. We feed them the recommended amount on the back of the bag, and they never act like they are hungry. It is expensive, but they do not have GI issues with this food like they have had with other brands. My dogs really like this dog food. They eat it up when we put it in their bowls. I FEEL THIS IS A GREAT PREMIUM DOG KIBBLE CHOICE..
I DECIDED TO MAKE A CHANGE FROM A PREMIUM DOG KIBBLE TO ANOTHER HIGHLY PREMIUM DOG FOOD CALLED "OPEN FARM" WHICH AFTER I READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCT I NEW IT WAS EVEN HEALTHIER THAN MY LAST CHOICE. BETTER MADE FOOD MEANS LESS VET BILLS & A HAPPIER FUR BABY. I DO NOT BUY GRAIN FREE ANY LONGER DUE TO UPDATED REPORTS. I LIKED THAT THE SALMON WAS NOT FARMED, IT IS WILD CAUGHT, THIS COMPANY SUPPORTS WILD CAUGHT LAWS & REGULATIONS. NIKKI HAS BEEN EATING THIS FOR A WEEKS, HE IS A PICKY EATER BUT HE DOES LIKE THIS FOOD SO FAR

I always come back to this!
My dog will eat anything, but I try to be selective. My vet, as well as the folks from the rescue, advised me to avoid grain-free food, as he has no trouble with grains. I didn't want to go with just *any* grains, so I did a lot of research. My research led me to Open Farm! My guy gets a mix of Open Farm Ancient Grains salmon and a little bit of another brand's raw food... just to fancy things up a little bit. But here's the reason I'm even writing a review: At some point, after starting my dog on a fish oil supplement, I wanted to change his protein to chicken from salmon. My local pet store only carried the grain-free turkey and chicken variety and suggested another high-quality brand with good grains. The other brand, who I won't mention, was fine.. my pet store is selective about which brands they'll carry! But the ingredient list was a lot longer than Open Farm's. I eased him into his new food and kept him on it for a few months. Even after the adjustment period, my dog's poops were not as solid and healthy-looking as they were when he was eating Open Farm. He also pooped way more than ever, even though I was keeping his calorie intake the same. So, I switched back to Open Farm.. although since I moved across town, I had to order it online because my *new* local pet store only carries the grain-free salmon, and his poops are back to normal! His coat is incredibly sleek, he has never had bad poop, never barfs it up, never turns it down. There are only two incredibly minor drawbacks--one is that his breath is really fishy after eating, and the second is that the seal on the bag sometimes detaches, making it hard to keep fresh. Anyway, I won't stray from Open Farm again. Seriously, if you're looking for a good-quality kibble that your dog won't turn down (and that won't wreck your dog's stomach like some other brands with "healthy" grains), don't hesitate to go with Open Farm.

Not for all dogs tho
My dog did not like it. I heard so many good things about it but for some reason my dog didn’t get use to it. The quality looked amazing and it lasts a good time if your dog likes it. It’s also soft
