I bought this as a day bag for a Europe trip and it was perfect for me . The bag sits close to the body and you can slide it around to access the pockets or wear it on the front. I was able to fit a 24oz water bottle, 6 cliff bars, baseball hat, battery pack, cables, pen and glasses case easily, but it was pretty full. Could NOT also stuff a small jacket, I hung that on the side through the strap next to my body and it worked fine.2 small, unsecured pockets as well. One on the side and one against the back. Side could hold a largish cell phone and the other maybe a US passport. Handy, but the larger one shares the space with the inside of the bag so keep that in mind.There are several pockets inside the main bag, one of which has a zipper. They do ok keeping things separated, but aren’t much.There is a USB extender allowing you to have a battery pack inside with included cable and plug stuff in to the port on the outside. I used it a bit and it seemed to work. Not sure how much power you lose in the extension.The lock works well and, with the thick, tough fabric, will keep someone from slashing your bag in passing. The lock takes some getting used to and is quite stiff, so takes 15-30 seconds for me to lock and requires all my attention. Seemed sturdy, though, and opens easily once the combination is set. Numbers click in securely with no slop so easy to set.The clasps for the shoulder strap are plastic and metal but are sturdy and have plenty of room for easily clipping into the bag’s loops in addition to a water bottle or hand sanitizer or whatever.All in all, a nice, secure, sleek small bag.

I love this bag! It’s actually my favorite bag out of all the backpacks, messenger bags and cases I’ve ever owned. For certain, it’s a freaking man bag but I’ve never been teased over it and even if I had been, I love it so much I’d keep on using it anyway. It’s strong, sturdy and very well designed. From the materials, to the hardware (zips & combo lock), to the compartments and functionality of the bag as a whole it works so well!!! It’s not without flaws but those are so few in number that I won’t bother to nitpick or mention them. Best of all it travels well (particularly for air travel) and forces you to pack in the most economical ways so that if you’re using it as a day bag, you only pack what you need. And with this bag, I never ever feel I leave anything behind that I miss…NEVER.

Nice quality bag. Just large enough for a EDC bag. Built in USB port is perfect for keeping a battery bank on for “emergency” gadget charging. Easily holds a Kindle up to the HD9 and a Nintendo switch with joy cons. Would recommend a larger pack for full size iPad or small laptop, but this is perfect for packing lighter. Can accommodate a mirrorless camera, but doesn’t have any dividers so plan on only a small lens already on the body if that’s your thing. No external pouch for a hydro flask but it can fit one inside if you’re not keeping too full of a bag otherwise. Perfect in-between bag to pack in a larger bag on a trip when you need just a bit more than cargo pants to get through the day, but don’t want a full on backpack or messenger bag after you’ve gotten to your acccomidations. (One day we will be able to travel again) I would recommend this for people that like to cary a battery bank and a small tablet, Nintendo Switch or e-reader on a daily basis and some small odds and ends like a notebook and pens or a water bottle and snacks. Great for public transit as well since it’s easy to move the bag around front to keep out of the way or for extra security. Combination lock is easy to set, and keeps the main pocket from being opened without your knowledge.

I ordered a few different makes of this type of bag and this is the one!!! Packable inside my carry on and big enough for my essentials including a pocket for a 20oz bottle. Nice charge port and quality build. Locking zippers work better than others and easier to use. Comfy adjustable strap and just the right size. This is my first Murse, and perfect for our travels abroad!!!

The quality is excellent and I have nothing bad to say about it except for the anti theft feature and the way you change your pass code. The passcode can be accidentally changed and then locked. After you accidentally change the passcode the locking mechanism can be broken open very easily with as little as a keyring. Mine broke part of the steal on part of one of the locking pin chipping the center of it out the other pin just flexed and allowed the zipper to pop out to become unlocked. The all plastic lock housing unit is surprisingly strong. But a determined thief would just snach and run and cut through the fabric later if the lock was a better design. Just an inconvenience to the user to have a flawed design because now it's just any other bag. They do make a great product overall and do a great job at it. I've never owned a shoulderbag/sling design before. I've always owned messenger bags and military bags due to durability. This bag gives them a solid run for their money. I would not buy this version again but would search the brand for another type they make without tge lock or maybe an improved design. Seeing how it's pretty standard though I'd probably go without and use my own.
