BrooksMen's Levitate 3 Le Running Shoe

These were my main road-running shoes for about 20 months and I found them extremely comfortable. I particularly liked the flexible, sock-like heel cup (which didn't aggravate a long-standing Achilles niggle).I logged over 900 miles of running in them (and walked A LOT, too) before the soles eventually split and I had to retire the pair. A sad day!

It’s a pretty snug fit but I have slim feet, so no issues with that. They are very well made and I’m pleased with this purchase. Looking forward to my next run with excitement.

I have done a reasonable amount of running in my time and tried most of the different shoe manufacturers out there, but generally come back to Brooks / Saucony as they seem to suit me best.I have only done c30 miles so far in them, but they were comfortable straight out of the box. The fit is excellent and they feel moulded to the foot due to the upper design.They do feel a little heavier than some shoes in your hand, but I the feel fine where it matters - on the road.

Was sent a size 11 instead of 13, so it’s a bit tight. Looks like it’s a fitting a bit bigger than the average shoe, so if you’re a size 13, a size 12 might do the trick

Amazing. Prompt delivery. Love the trainers too. Colour is a bit lighter blue in real life compared to photos but still look great. Only wee issue I'm working through in terms of the fit, is that the elastic collar is rubbing slightly on my right Achilles.

This is an obsolete generation of the Levitate line from Brooks (gen 3) and a limited edition to boot. I had an identical pair, a few years back and wish I had purchased multiple pairs. I like the contrast of the solid black mesh uppers and the futuristic shiny (not garishly shiny) silver/gray midsole; kind of "Buck Rogers-esque". I have purchased subsequent pairs from the Levitate line (three pair of the generation 5 line). Even though the newer generations seem to fit better with less break-in period, I missed the solid black (ebony) color. When I was in the market for a new pair of shoes to add to my activity regimen, I checked out the newest generation of the Levitate line (G6) but was disenchanted with the color choices, so I decided to search around and see if I could find another pair of the G3 Levitate. Much to my surprise, I was able to find an identical pair. The generation 3 is tight at first and takes a while to properly stretch to how I want it to fit, but to me, it was worth it. I can now use it for walking, running and everyday use. I alternate all of my Brooks shoes for all three activities. If you do purchase an NOS G3 pair with the color you desire, just be sure to allow a slightly longer break-in period and/or start out with shorter runs/workouts.
