This filter blocks all the smells and I use it on the train or very close quarters & long rides (plane trips). It is heavier than my other single filter and can be heavy on the bridge of my very fine nose. The combination gas and vapor cartridge with P100 particulate filter protects against organic vapors, chlorine, hydrogen chlorine, hydrogen flouride, ammonia, methylamine and formaldehyde with minimum 99.97% efficiency. I use it with my half mask, but it also works with a full mask (pictured). They are all made in mexico

This is a P100, for chemical vapor, so make sure you know what you need before you buy it. I work with Acid and other hazardous vapors so this does the job i need it to. I have full face, half face and tethered masks and this works well in all of them. Note some brands of masks have brand specific cartridges, make sure you have a universal connector that will fit the cartridge you buy. Id highly recommend North products for all your safety needs. You cant get any better.

So many chemicals mankind is spraying and not learning the downside until it's too late. Insect, bug, weed, lawn, horses, livestock, it seems we are always spraying chemicals for one reason or another. Dust filters are less expensive but don't stop one from breathing the chemicals. Costly? What is a life worth? Replace it as needed, they don't last forever. Cover your body, protect your lungs and your body.
