Must have worked, no critters present!!!
We were gone for over a few months and put these in the engine of the truck so we do not get any little bastards and make the engine bay their home. Came back and was very glad to see there was nothing there and not even any evidence of any little critters trying to chill under the hood. Worked well, battery life lasted plenty.

it's actually working to keep mice out of my car!
this is working! no more mice poops all over the interior of my car. the mice in my car started a year ago? I admit, I was using my back seat as a trash can... empty snack bags, used kleenex... you know, the usual remnants of driving. I've been doing this for 16 years with no repercussions. I would just clean the back set floor every few weeks, no problem. then the mice chewed up all the bags and kleenex, were pooping everywhere - in the trunk, back seats, front seats, cup holders, on dash, in glove box. nests in the glove box and trunk. I did a thorough clean (and haven't left any trash in the car since - not even one kleenex) and set traps and killed 8 mice. but they were still coming into my car and pooping all over. on the floor... on the seats... in my cupholder! little poops. (I don't think I'll ever be able to eat chocolate sprinkles again). prior to this repeller I tried: mouse traps (killed 8 mice in my car, forgot to check it for a day or two and the smell of dead mouse was SO bad) herbal repellant sachets (they actually chewed these up and used them for nesting material) dryer sheets (nope, still little poops everywhere and I got a headache from the smell) irish spring soap (the little bastards were actually eating the bars of soap! also sickening smell for me, and it's my car) we have a bucket trap in the carport and kill a couple mice a week but they were still pooping in my car. since putting the repeller in my car (first in cup holder in center console between seats then on passenger side floor) no more little poops! It's been about 7 days now, poop free = mouse free (as they don't seem to be able to travel more than 6 inches without defecating) (I have had a different device in the engine bay for 2+ years; attaches to the battery and blinks and flashes that keeps out mice and rabbits (a rabbit chewed a wire that caused $500 in damage)) so, in summary, this repeller works! and it's so easy! no setting traps, no dead bodies, no reek of dryer sheets / irish spring, no little poops and hopefully no hantavirus. I'm a fan.

Don't work for rats.
Purchased these to try to help deter pack rats from wreaking havoc in our engine compartments in a very rural area. While they weren't really effective on these large country pack rats that dont seem to be bothered by anything we've tried yet, the devices seemed to be of quality construction. Also, the seller was helpful and accommodating and had no issues with return & refund. Probably still work for mice and smaller pests. Give it a shot.

Disappointed!
I bought this device because it had a good review, but I didn’t have such luck. This is my second week, it hasn’t worked. I have seen the mice walk by, still hear their noises. I’ll give another week, if nothing happens I’m asking for a refund.

Great for RV winter storage.
Works as it should. Battery life is very good 90 plus days in winter weather. Not 100% mouse proof but that’s what mouse traps are for!

Decent producted marred by cheap switches
I have six of these that I put in the engine compartments of my two cars each night, along with two bright LED lights per car. I bought them because mice were urinating on the engines each night. Overall, this solution has been effective. It's rare now for there to be signs of overnight mouse activity. At first, I was also putting peppermint essential oil in the engine compartments (this is also an effective mouse deterrent) but I've stopped doing that and the ultrasound + light is enough. I think the ultrasound is more important that the LEDs because I initially tried to deter the mice with LED lights only, and this was not effective. However, it was only when I started putting 2-3 of these ultrasound units in each car (2 in my Corolla; 3 in my larger 4Runner) that the mice went away. One unit per car was not enough. I would have given this product five stars because it has been an effective part of my mouse deterrent. But the manufacturer really cheaped out on the switches. Every now and then, they become very hard to operate and you have to switch them on and off any times (using considerable finger force) in order for them to become usable again.

The proof of the effectiveness of this electronic repellent is yet to be determined
We've been at war with mice in the cabin of our car for a couple years. I have installed one of these units under the hood of my car and one in the cabin. So far, no mice, but it's early. It was easy to set this up by installing two C batteries.in each device. I watched each device go through its predetermined steps and fortunately you do not hear the ultrasonic sound unless you use the test button. The two devices also come with nifty zip ties that can be released and used again. I used two of these zip ties to secure the device under the hood. I will update this review in a couple of months.

Imported this from USA as English ultrasonic & strobing rodent repellents all appeared to be mains powered - at the time we had no electric sockets in the attic, which has since been remedied. During 2025 we suffered squirrel infestation in the attic on 2 occasions. (1st time I drove the pesky little creature out with 1/2 hour concert on my plugged in acoustic guitar. 2nd time this didn't work, the squirrels were obviously not music lovers). Having spread some peppermint balls around the attic, which did appear to help a little, this device, together with some more of those peppermint balls have done the trick. We have now been squirrel free for nearly 6 months. I will highly recommend this device, especially since it doesn't cost you a fortune.

I put mine on a plate under my car, and drive over it when i park. Batteries last about 2 months. It;s not intended for outside use, but it lasts around a year outside in my experience, so long as your car is over the top of it. I've had to use hair dryer when it got inundated. However, I checked using an spectroid app on my phone, and I can see the ultrasonic pips get very weak, so would have little effect. But definitely works for me, and no expensive damage from squirrels since I started using them. I'm on my 3rd unit.

At this time of year I have glis glis and mice coming into my loft, so have installed one of these electronic repellants. However I'm sweeping up vermin droppings next to it on a daily basis! I assume it is working correctly - flashing stobe lights etc. - but obviously having no deterrent effect, very disappointed

After a couple of years of intermittent visits from these pesky rodents and expensive call outs from pest control companies this seems so far to be keeping them away 🤞🤞🤞 My only criticisms are that the unit needs regular battery replacements and instructions were quite poor.
