I read somewhere these were breathable but only found 3 small holes inside screw part and one on lid but it looks like when you close it it would stop air getting in so just in case I'm wrong I just added another 4 to 5 holes in lid now its breathable I left other one as it came to test both out to find out how long waxes last in each box 5 star good quality thick I will buy more

Some fishermen who use live bait prefer minnows, which involves buckets, water and aeration. One of the best live baits are moth grubs called “waxies” and to a lesser extent fly maggots called “spikes”. These hockey puck sized bait containers sort of remind me of chewing tobacco cans, but instead of getting a pinch you get some bait. There maybe some knock-offs but this is the original product that you want. Highly recommended, great stocking stuffer for that hard water fisherman on your list.

I wish I would have bought these years ago! Spikes stayed fresh and lively in these pucks by simply putting them in the refrigerator after ice fishing. Beats the flimsy containers spikes/mousies/meal worms are typically sold in from bait shops. Fits in the coat pocket nice and the 2 color pack allows you to remember what is in each puck!!

Very well made ice pucks. I would like them better if the interior diameter was made a half inch larger and the interior height was a quarter inch higher.

Works very bell at storing bait. Doesn't "blow away" in the frigid wind of ice fishing. Fits easily Ina front pocket for keeping the wax worms alive. Seals easily so no wood shaving fill your pockets. Just don't mixup the storage container with your dip container!!!

The Bait Pucks work very nicely for ice fishing, I use multiple grubs so with the different colors I keep them separatefrom each other. They are built strong and easy to get the bait even on the coldest days with high winds . If you use spikes or mousie grubs they age great !
