Very nicely formatted book! We just got back into tent camping and had not a clue where to go in N. Cal. This book has all the answers from where to go, what the campground is like, pets, fees, recreation and anything else you would want to know. We read through it and put post-it notes on the campgrounds and are now ready to go! The hardest part is remembering what all you need to pack! Great book .... one of those "don't leave home without it" books!

I LOVED TOM'S SHOW, AND THIS GUIDE IS THE BEST FOR FINDING THAT SPECIAL CAMPGROUND. THANK YOU TOM STIENSTRA FOR PRODUCING SUCH A THROUGH BOOK OF TENT CAMPING. LOVED BURNEY FALLS, AND AWANNEE, LOVE BIG TREES ON THE SMITH RIVER. CAN'T WAIT TO GO TO THE NEXT ONE. MY STANDARD OF LIVING HAS GONE STRAIGHT UP BECAUSE OF THIS BOOK. WELL WRITTEN, GREAT FORMAT TO COMPARE ONE LOCATION TO THE NEXT. SURPASSED MY EXPECTATIONS EVEN AFTER BEING A LONG TIME FAN OF YOUR SHOW.

I am very pleased with this book! I loved how the chapters and maps are laid out. The areas are by county instead of by city, so it makes it easier to find a spot near the area you want to stay. Read about places I had no idea were there! This book has made me very excited about my next camping trip. Highly recommend this book.

Tom’s information changed my life.

Family members are just getting into camping. This book not only gave them info on where to camp but many camping tips to make it more fun and safe.They are really enjoying it.

Tge book is well written and exactly what I was looking for. There is information for both off the beaten path as well as well known campgrounds, and it's current and precise.

Great information

It doesn't list all the RV parks. It leaves a lot of small and private parks out.
