I am not into pop music, though not all of this is really Pop. I am not into his Wham stuff all that much, but ever since he broke out on his own I have just loved his sound. It is some of my favorite music, and the only music I like that sounds anything like it. And though I take a lot of flack for it I still get all his stuff and I make no bones about it. People may not appreciate his talent for this art form as much as I do but at least they let me enjoy the music just the same. To that end this is a great compilation of some of his best work. I keep only a few CDs in the car with me but this one, even though it is a double disc set, is one of them. It is that good, even people who don't think they like him still seem to enjoy this disc set. I am sure if you have ever liked him you will enjoy this compilation. The newer stuff on here is OK, but it is really more about the older stuff on this set. For newer stuff there are a couple of other discs out there, but none are as good as this. Review: Music - Everything was great.

Gotta Have Faith
Excellent addition to my CD collection! Very happy with the purchase: great price for new CDs (yes, there are multiple in this set), fast shipping and arrived well packed so case was not broken. All his hits and more! Highly recommend for GM fans.

Fantastic CD Collection!!!
This CD is everything I hoped for. The music is simply fantastic...outstanding vocals...musicians contribution is so beyond what I expected. Arrived exactly as described and arrived on time. The only thing that was a negative is the CD plastic cover came cracked. CD being bubble wrapped would probably been helpful to prevent this. Very happy customer. I love this collection. Would purchase again for a gift. I love this CD!!!

Excellent career overview, but try to get the UK version
A well done hits compilation, spread across two discs and including some interesting rarities and new songs. The songs are divided up in non-chronological order, with ballads on one disc and dance tracks on the other. I personally would have preferred the tracks to have been sequenced chronologically, but the current sequencing is satisfactory, and isolating the dance tracks leaves you with a great party disc. Just for the record, no songs with Wham are included ("Careless Whisper" and "A Different Corner" were released as solo songs), the UK hit "Older" is missing, and the hit version of "I Want Your Sex" has been replaced with the "Part II" reprise of the song. The remainder of the songs are all presented in their original single versions, which makes it a great buy even if you have all of Michael's proper albums. The US and UK versions of the compilation have slightly different track listings. The newly-recorded dance single "Outside" (#2 UK) is present on both version, but the stirring cover of Stevie Wonder's "As" (#4 UK), with Mary J. Blige) is only found of the UK issue. The UK version also includes a 1997 remix of "The Strangest Thing" and the killer B-side "Fantasy," but inexplicably omits the smash hit "Monkey," which is on the US version. Both versions included two generous booklets with lyrics and many beautiful photos of Michael. Given the inclusion of the few rare tracks, I suggest listeners pick up the UK version (after all, "Monkey" is easily found on the Faith album). Either way you go, however, this is a great compilation that includes some of the best pop singles of the eighties and nineties.
