I have not tried this though. You can set it for a set time frame but then have to set for another.....can’t set for intermittent timing. **Q: why do timer leak after few months of use** A: Yes. We run 8-10 of them around the property. I date them when I put them in service. I bought them for almost all my spigots around the property. I do wish they came with a start time of 5 minutes vs the 15. Also some of them leak when on, out of various parts but hold tight when mechanism shuts off flow.
