Perfect Replacement for SONY ICF-M410V vintage portable AM/FM/TV/Weather Radio
I have finally replaced the broken antenna on my SONY ICF-M410V portable AM/FM/Weather/TV band radio with this unit. It slipped in flawlessly and even clips into the molded antenna holder. It is a perfect fit in other words - I thank Bingfu for good specs on their page. I tried another replacement and the antenna was too thick to fit into the hole and I could not even disassemble it to fit on the second screw - also too thick. NOT THIS BINGFU - and you can read good specs that tell you it isn't too thick. IT WORKS - I get good sound on the radio (yeah, it so old that there is an old TV channel band - that is now just static). Who knows how long it will last - I will be more careful this time around, but I do have a second replacement (and a couple more of these radios lying around, too). This is a good working product, well described and functional. It made me happy to be sure - a 30 second replacement job. Yippee! Read the specs carefully and take your chances - not all these similar looking antennas are the same (diameter).

Good enough.
I bought this to replace the broken antenna on my Midland ER310 radio. This was a very frustrating process because the key metric for a replacement antenna is not the EXTENDED length, it is the COMPRESSED length so that it will fit all the way inside the radio and not leave a vulnerable remainder hanging out of the radio to get bent or damaged. Very few sellers in this marketspace seem to have figured that out. Additionally, very few radios seem to advertise the replacement antenna specs. So, this self-repair ends up needlessly being a guessing game, due to poor planning on the part of the manufacturer and the seller. This antenna was the shortest compressed length I could find, but it still extends past the housing an extra 1.75 inches when fully compressed. It'll have to do, because I'm not going to blindly order a bunch more hoping to happen on one that is the perfect fit. Since there were two in the package, at least I have an extra one on hand, as a backup. The reception on this, when extended, seems comparable to the old antenna. I don't think radio waves are too terribly picky about build quality or metallic composition. The radio functions again, the antenna doesn't fall out like the broken one did, and that's good enough for the moment.

Easy to install but you should check the diameter of the antenna base before ordering
Turns out the base of my old antenna was about twice the size of the base of this replacement part. BUT this antenna still installed flawlessly and I am now getting GREAT reception on an emergency radio we bought for the RV many years ago. I was afraid the radio had been rendered useless when the antenna broke and this replacement part gave it new life. If you are a stickler for replacing and updating parts on items you may want to ensure that the base diameter of your purchased antenna completely matches the size and dimensions of your particular radio. I am not so picky and am perfectly happy having may emergency radio work again!

The connection tab is very small
The product is smaller than I expected. it is 6.5" retracted from the copper tab to the tip, 26" fully extended. The first barrel is 6mm wide. The real problem is the tab itself. The screw hole is threaded, but there can't be more than 2 threads because it is so thin. It is 1.5 mm wide (1/16th of an inch.) then about 6.8mm wide, and 7mm long. It just wobbles around in place of the old one. Sadly I damaged the package too much to return them.

Worked Very Well For Me At A Fraction Of The Cost
Had destroyed the OEM antenna on one of my Sangean PR-D15 radios. Measurements on this one were very similar to the OEM. The brass mounting tang was slightly different; however, I was able to reuse the OEM tang and did so. Reception (excellent) is similar to what the original antenna provided. Maybe not as beefy as the OEM (at many times the price) - and I have a spare to use if I should break either one of them on the future.
