This mounts to a standard telephone punchdown block bracket. Although this would physically fit in a structured media cabinet, it is not designed to fit the mounting hole spacing and method of mounting in the cabinet, so making it "work" would require drilling new holes in the cabinet and it would not fit within the standard footprint of modules designed for the structured media cabinet. **Q: Does it come with the mounting bracket? If you're ever in a situation it's just a simple telco bracket. It is not meant for shielded jacks. I had a lot of keystones, but no patch panel. So this was perfect.I really like the freedom of being able to use whatever keystones types you have. I had all cat5e, but you could use phone or whatever.Another reviewer said it doesn't stay together well for him. It is true that there are three subsections of 4 ports each. While putting the keystones, the subsections did come out a couple times. But once everything was together, it works great!If I have one thing bad to say, I like patch panels that you can swing open. It's a bit more of a pain to add more ports here. The mounting is the exact same kind of mount that you have on a 66 block.
